The large sloped yard is perfect for sledding. Step into this inviting cabin just minutes from downtown Banner Elk and soak up the stunning views. Warm up by the floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace after a day on the slopes or hiking nearby trails. The open-concept kitchen and dining area flow into the attractive living room, creating a perfect setting for memorable evenings. The living room is tastefully decorated with antiques, a comfy sofa, a coffee table, a cozy fireplace, and a TV for movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to support your culinary creativity, complete with a dining area that seats six. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability with a $25 per hour fee. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is highly recommended during winter months. Located in the heart of the High Country, this cabin is a short distance from Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, and Banner Elk. The town of Banner Elk offers a beautiful mountain retreat with access to the conveniences of larger metropolitan areas. It features a lively arts and crafts scene, upscale boutiques, and outstanding restaurants. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just six miles away, and Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is a 30-minute drive. Smoking is not allowed. People other than those in the guest's party designated in the reservation may not stay overnight at the property. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm, as some neighbors live full-time nearby.
