Floors are hardwood (warmed with a few area rugs), Marmoleum in entry/kitchen, and tile (with radiant floor heat) in the bathroom. Roll aside a big barn door to reveal the bedroom with queen-sized bed and French doors leading to an outdoor covered balcony with a view of big trees, surrounding gardens, and nearby homes. Pull down room-darkening shades when you want to sleep in. A short hallway leads to a walk-in closet and the bathroom. Pocket doors allow you to close off private areas when entertaining. A spacious bathroom features a pedestal sink, separate toilet room, and tiled walk-in shower area equipped with both overhead and handheld shower and separate temp/volume controls. Enjoy cooking in a well designed kitchen area that overlooks the living space. This furnished unit contains an extensive collection of spices as well as many kitchen tools, dishes, and appliances. There is an induction stove/convection oven range, a microwave, drawer-style dishwasher, and in-unit combo washer-dryer. (This is an all-electric unit.) The property is a former single-family home on a big corner lot and this apartment was added onto the double garage in 2017. It was subsequently "condoized" and Unit B has been owner occupied since March 2019. The two units have completely separate entrances; they are connected through the garage so there is very little sound transmission between them. The location is a quiet, residential section of the Woodstock Neighborhood. Several commercial strips nearby offer several grocery options and a full array of services, cafes, parks, a library, etc. Reed College is ~1.5 miles due west and Mt. Tabor is ~3 miles due north. Whether driving, biking, or riding the bus, other parts of Portland are readily accessible, and the Amtrak station and PDX airport are easy to reach via Trimet if you don't have a car.
