Amazing ocean view apartment. Newer rental locate on private road, full size kitchen with island. Kitchens drawers are self closing, under cabinet lighting, glass top stove for easier cleaning, large pantry for extra supplies, dishwasher and garbage disposer. Unit is heated with an air to air heat pump, very economical to run it heats and can also be used as an air conditioner. In Alaska that isn't very often this is the first year that they were used as air conditioner in 5 years and they worked very well. There is mail delivery and pickup here, it is locked for your security. The unit has 2 bedrooms, one is a master bedroom with a full bathroom and the second bedroom has the bathroom right next to it in the hall. There is laundry hook- ups, this tenant has newer machines she is willing to sell cheap they are high efficiency machines. It would be alot cheaper than trying to ship a w/d our shipping rates are very high. So I encourage anyone interested to buy the machines, they are very nice. There is a large heated storage room before you enter the apartment. It is great for storing bikes and suitcases and tools and so on. It locks with the apt. door key. There is also a full size deck on the front and the back of the unit. The front deck looks out over the ocean and is beautiful and even on the rainy days is still an amazing view. There is an eagle tree directly in front of apartment with babies this year. So the babies will be getting out of the nest in a couple of months and learning to fly. That is always fun to watch. I don't charge last month's rent only first months and deposit. I believe in treating my tenant's fairly and expect the same from my tenant's. There is a one year lease we have everyone sign. We do not allow pets., only because the units are new. We do have lots of wildlife to watch, there is a pet squirrel Charley, we have the two bald eagles, there are deer and black bears. There is a boat launch nearby for any that wants to fish, this area has some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Town is only 10 mins away. Our apartments are way up off of the highway so there is no traffic noise, very quiet. There is a paved bike path just across the road that goes all the way to town. The rec. center is 5 miles away so only takes about 10 minutes to get there. It has a couple of swimming pools and slides, a sauna, exercise rooms, children's area, and they offer several classes for all ages throughout the year.
