APARTMENT DESCRIPTION Available for immediate occupancy is a bright and spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment on a charming residential block in Ithaca's historic East Hill district. Located between Collegetown and downtown Ithaca, the apartment is a short walk (five to ten minutes) from Cornell, the Ithaca Commons, and local transit. The apartment is a fully separate unit with a private entrance on the ground-level of a single-family home. The apartment features a large living / dining area; a separate full kitchen; and a well-sized bedroom with a large closet and built-in shelving. Currently, the apartment is furnished with a queen bed, sofa, dining table, and chairs; it can also be provided unfurnished. UTILITIES, PARKING, AMENITIES High-speed wireless internet and heating are included; the heating is controlled in the unit and can be adjusted by the tenant. Not included are electric costs, which are the tenant's responsibility (and billed by NYSEG). Tenant will have access to the driveway for off-street parking. The tenant also qualifies for a R1 Zone Residential Parking Permit for street-side parking (http://www.cityofithaca.org/193/Permit-Issuance). Access to the large fenced in yard is also available as well as use of laundry facilities. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION A one year lease is ideal but potential tenants interested in renting for the summer or fall will be considered on a case by case basis. The tenant must sign a lease and provide first month's rent as well as a security deposit of one month's rent, which will be returned to the tenant at the end of the lease.
