Welcome to "Captain’s Quarters," a delightful second-floor condo in central Destin. This family-friendly complex offers three pools, one of which is seasonally heated, and a fishing pond for your enjoyment. Located approximately 3/4 mile from public beach access, this home is within walking distance to restaurants, parks, family activities, and shopping. The condo features a stairway entrance to the breezeway, providing an open-air experience without the feel of a stuffy hotel or mega-complex. Enjoy the convenience of keyless entry and ample parking directly in front of the building. Inside, you'll find a clean and fun rental space with a unique layout of two bedrooms and two attached full bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests. The living room invites relaxation with a comfy sectional, a large Smart TV on a "gator skin" wall, and an electric fireplace. The open concept kitchen boasts custom counter space, a breakfast bar, and a full suite of stainless appliances, making it a pleasure for any cook. For our tiny travelers, we provide plastic dining ware, a pack and play, and a small high chair. Guests traveling with pets must disclose their stay during booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. The condo allows a maximum of two dogs, which must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after. Pets are not permitted on furniture. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA are subject to the pet fee. While not beachfront, the condo is approximately 3/4 mile driving distance from public beach access at June Decker Park. Its exceptional proximity to everything Destin offers, including Destin Dog Park, Morgan Sportscenter, Big Kahunas, and The Track, makes it an ideal location for exploring the area. The complex also features freshly resurfaced tennis courts with Pickleball lines and electric vehicle charging stations. Smoking is not permitted on the balcony or near the building at any time. Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10 PM sharp. Excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances are not permitted. The HOA has age restrictions, renting to ages 25 and up only. Trailer, RV, Box Truck, and Watercraft parking is not permitted, with towing fees applying to any violation. Checkout is at 10 AM, and any stay past this time will result in an additional day charge and cleaning fee. Any issues must be disclosed prior to checkout, or guests are held liable for damages. Property manager must be notified and given the ability to resolve issues during the stay. Guests working or schooling from home can set up at the desk in the living area, a highly sought-after amenity for many travelers. A full-sized washer and dryer are conveniently located in the unit, directly off the living/dining area.
