My 1892 Queen Anne Victorian home in lovely tree lined Lair Hill is bursting with historic details, charm and a unique Portland feel. The building was listed on the national register of historic places in 2016 after I completed a major renovation.. It is an original Portland mansion built in 1892 by Andrew P. Delin and his family. Mr. Delin was a local cabinetmaker by trade, and like many craftsmen of the era, was often called upon to make coffins. As this practice grew, Mr. Delin decided to open a funeral chapel in his business at First and Morrison Streets, and officially became A.P. Delin & Co., Undertakers. That same year, Multnomah County was chartered and Andrew P. Delin was appointed the county’s first coroner. (don't worry he didn't do his work here). I love the history and character of the building and I hope you will too. I live onsite in one of the other apartments so would be your neighbor. Screening standards: 1. Gross household income must be at least 2.5x rent amount. Applicant(s) need 6 months verifiable income. Copies of 6 recent paystubs or other supporting documentation required to verify income 2. Credit score of 700+ 3. No evictions, ever 4. Any convictions in the last 2 years will be reviewed 5. No violent, armed, or destructive crimes, ever 6. No or low credit card debt 7. Positive references from 2 former landlords or documentation of good standing as homeowner 8. Credit, background checks and filled in questionnaire required for all adults. Any incorrect information is grounds for denial of application 9. Pets: Cat ok 10. Smoking: Not allowed anywhere on premises 11. One local contact personal reference per lease signee 12. Illegal Drug Use: Not allowed 13. Security deposit due at time of lease signing 14. Timeliness: Punctual in appointments and payments
