Recently remodeled apartment in a historic apartment community with a 13-month lease at BELOW MARKET RATE (see notes below) that runs through August 12, 2019. Our ideal move out date is July 4, 2018, but we can leave a little earlier if you want to move in sooner. DETAILS: • 2 large bedrooms • 1 private bathroom • Free on-street parking • Additional $145/month covers heat, water, sewer, trash and recycling (added by Olentangy Village, so the total monthly cost will be $1,025). Renter pays electricity. • Swimming pool for residents only with key card entry. • 1-car garage with electric door opener for $70/month, but ONLY if you want it (there is a waiting list for garages, so you have first right of refusal before others on the waiting list). NOTES: • As 5-year residents, our rent is discounted because when current residents renew their lease, Olentangy Village discounts the cost and minimizes the annual increases. This means you will pay LESS for this sublease than you would as a new renter of the same apartment! • Adjacent to Olentangy River and Clinton-Como Park, and has a private entrance to Olentangy Trail, which is literally a 1-minute walk from the apartment! • 1.5 miles from Ohio State University. The #2 High Street bus runs regularly north and south. Cycling and walking are easy on the Olentangy Trail. • Remodeled in 2017 with new kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink and refrigerator; also new bath/shower and exhaust fan. We previously installed several wooden shelves for storage and also a 10" wide shelf that runs the length of the kitchen for additional counter space. • Large courtyard with picnic tables on a hillside overlooking the Olentangy River. • Indoor bicycle racks in the basement of an adjacent building. OTHER FEATURES: • Great restaurants and bars within short walking distance including Aladdin's, Harvest Bar and Kitchen, Lavash Café, Lineage Brewing, Pattycake Bakery, Lucky Dragon, O'Reilly's Pub, and several others. • Giant Eagle (open 24 hours) is adjacent to Olentangy Village and a 5-minute walk or 1-minute drive from the apartment. Also, Lucky's Market (natural foods) is right across the street from Giant Eagle. • There is a full-time maintenance department that is very responsive to issues and repairs as needed, including 24-hour emergency maintenance. • Original hardwood parquet wood floors. • Every building has a coded entry, and a security company patrols in the evenings/overnight. • Package concierge service for when you go out of town or are away for the day. • Apartment is on the second floor (including a view overlooking a courtyard) BUT one of the entrances to the building is on the first floor which makes for easy moving of furniture. • Residents-only 24-hour fitness center.
