On the main level, you will find a great room that is open to the kitchen. This room includes a dining table or workspace, as well as a couch and TV area. There is also a half bathroom on the main level. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and a full bathroom. Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts: $35 for less than 5 nights, $50 for 5 to 30 nights, and $100 for 30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked. The Franklinton neighborhood is situated just west of Downtown Columbus and is full of historic homes. This neighborhood has experienced many phases throughout its existence and is currently in a revitalization phase. There are lots of properties being renovated, and some that still remain boarded and empty. This area has experienced some crime in the past but has improved in recent years. The Franklinton Floodwall, completed in 2004, is 7 miles long and cost $134 million. The wall's completion has released the area from being considered a floodplain, as well as releasing the previous building restrictions that often prevented development in the past. As a result, commercial and industrial activities are starting to grow in the Franklinton Area. The City of Columbus is focusing on creating a new Short North style neighborhood in Franklinton through developing an urban creative district. This new neighborhood is now centered between Gift, Town, Lucas, and Rich Streets. Key developers have purchased existing buildings and are working to refurbish existing buildings to retain the character of Franklinton.
