There are French doors between the bedroom and sitting room that you can open for more bedroom space and the breeze or close if you want an office, breakfast area, etc. Across the hall is the condo’s personal private laundry room with washer, dryer, storage area with shelving system, and a locking door. The rent includes water, high speed internet, cable, and trash, saving you thousands a year in bills. As you can see from the photos, the router, modem, and all necessary equipment are hooked up and working, so you can just plug in and go. It also includes use of the clubhouse, pool, hot tub, fitness center, shuffle board, grill, and one covered parking space. As most of the residents are snow birds, there are almost always lots of open covered spots if you need to park another car. Cove Cay has I believe 10 total buildings, but they are separated into villages, each with its own clubhouse, pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, grill, and fitness center. As this condo is in the smallest of all the villages, every time I went to the pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, grill, or fitness center, I had it to myself. Golfers get a discount on the use of the golf course, though I am not sure of the amount. And the golf course clubhouse on-site has a little restaurant and bar on the water within easy walking distance for all residents. Cove Cay residents can also use the community marina to launch a kayak, paddle board, etc. The entire community is gated and guarded 24 hours a day, expertly landscaped, and beautifully maintained. Cove Cay does require a background check before approving a tenant at a cost of $100 per person or per married couple.
