Situated just nine miles east of Downtown San Diego, Lemon Grove is a laidback suburb nestled off of Highway 94. Lemon Grove touts plenty of small-town charm along with easy access to big-city amenities. Among Lemon Grove’s many beloved community events are the annual summer Concerts and Movies in the Park in addition to the Community Bonfire.
While this city has a lot to offer its residents, including scenic parks and convenient shopping centers, its biggest claim to fame is its quirky, world-famous landmark: the giant concrete lemon. The massive lemon sculpture has stood at the corner of Broadway and Lemon Grove Avenue for nearly a century.
