Furnished, private attic suite (entire upstairs - about 650 square feet) with private bathroom, kitchenette, front room with living, dining, and office space and backroom with bedroom, large closets, and a window nook. The upstairs private suite shares a primary house with 2 housemates (owner and housemate) who live downstairs and enjoy living with others - we have both lived in the Oakland area and are happy to provide recommendations! House is located in Bella Vista - a historic area of Oakland that is about 1 mile from Lake Merritt of of Park Blvd. We are walking distance to a cafe, Thai restaurant, convenient store and bus lines, but this area is best with a car (one housemate does not have a car - so it is possible!). Kitchenette includes built-in 2 burner gas stove, full size refrigerator (10 cubic feet), full size sink (does not have a garbage disposal), countertop toaster oven/air fryer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and stocked with all the essential cooking items. If there is an item that is essential to you that may be missing, please let me know. The suite is furnished to include a dining area, living area, office/desk area, and bedroom with a full size bed (Tuft & Needle mattress). The home includes all the essentials for your stay - towels, sheets, etc. Please see photos and ask questions before booking if you have any questions about the space. PS - The main quirk about the space is that it does not have a shower, but there is a lovely clawfoot tub and a handheld shower attachment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take standing showers in this space. There are also some areas that the ceiling is low because of the angle of the roof in some areas.
