A Ring doorbell with a camera is installed at the front door for safety, monitoring the exterior entryway 24/7. No cameras are inside the property, ensuring your privacy throughout your stay. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM daily, and a $250 fine will be charged for noise complaints. Smoking is only allowed outside, with a $1000 fine for smoking inside the unit. Dispose of all smoking waste in the green dumpster, and a $250 fine will be charged if debris is left behind after your stay. Check-out time is 11 AM, and a $250 fee will be charged if you check out after 11:15 AM. Please do not move furniture, as a $250 fine will be charged if furniture is moved from its original position. An excessive cleaning fee of up to $250 may apply for dirt, mud, or stains on floors or rugs. Located next to Selfridge Air Force Base, Mount Clemens is a picturesque city along Clinton River, just five minutes from Lake Saint Clair. I-94 borders the city on its east side, leading to Downtown Detroit in about 30 minutes. Downtown Mount Clemens is quintessential Midwest, complete with false-front architecture, brick-paved walkways, and period lighting.
With a history dating back to 1796 (and as one of Michigan's oldest cities), Mount Clemens was originally known as "High Banks." The surveyor who arrived here in the late 1700s, Christian Clemens, is considered the city's founder. He purchased land along the river in 1801 and plotted out the village. He named his village after himself -- Mount Clemens. The small village grew quickly when mineral baths began to attract tourists to the area. Today, Mount Clemens is a popular city with a variety of parks, good schools, and a fantastic downtown shopping district.
