The building doesn’t have a parking lot but as a resident you can purchase a preferential parking Permit for $34 per year from the city of LA which will make it easy to park nightly on Emmett Terrace and access the building through its back entrance located on the corner of Emmett Terrace and Whitley Ave. Check: ladotparking.org/permits/ppd-permits Also, the nearby “Cherokee And Hollywood Parking Garage” sells monthly passes for around $180 with 24 hours access. -------- 1929 Whitley Ave is located in the Hollywood Hills West surrounded by mansions and old Hollywood charm. Calm and quiet residential block conveniently located near the 101 freeway. 3 blocks away going up the hill you will get open views to the Hollywood Sign while walking through Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean Revival historic homes. The nearest Metro Red Line is located at Hollywood & Highland by the shopping mall. Very walkable area. There are coffee shops like Intelligentsia and Starbucks, local grocery and convenience stores, several options for restaurants, CVS, UPS within 5 minutes by foot either near Cahuenga Blvd or Highland Ave. Minutes away are Hollywood's oldest eateries "Musso & Frank Grill" and "Miceli's"; the iconic Hollywood Wax Museum; Grauman's Theatre Celebrity Foot and Handprints; the Walk of Fame; the "Oscars" Dolby Theatre and the Hollywood Bowl. Universal Studios and the Warner Brothers Lot are only a 10 min drive away. There are several options for hiking trails and dog walks within the area including the Whitley Terrace Steps and national parks like Runyon Canyon and Griffith Park.
