Start your day with a swim at the nearby beach, accessible by a short stroll down the hill, or explore more beaches in town. When you’re ready for adventure, Newport’s vibrant shops, restaurants, and historic sights are only 20 minutes away. Everything is new here as there was a gut reno on the house finishing in 2023. There are 2 double bedrooms upstairs - one queen and one king or 2 twin beds - and a bath. There is a third bedroom off the Living Room on the main floor with a twin bed. Also a full bath on the main floor off the back hallway. There are water views from the front of the house and garden views from the back. There is a large screened porch attached to the back and east side of the house with a dining table for four. There are two TVs and high speed internet service. There is a dedicated work space in the front room looking out over the water and a separate seating area around the piano keyboard. There is a full sized washer and dryer stacked in the basement in space shared with the basement apartment. There is a basement apartment office accessed by a separate entrance in the back of the house that is often unoccupied (in use approximately one out of twelve months total for periods of a few days at a time). There is a bridge nearby but the road tire noise is not discernable while in the house. Even outside, the bridge rumbles are not particularly intrusive.
