Stainless steel appliances (including full sized refrigerator and a gas range). The dining room table seats 4. The bathroom includes 2 vanities/sinks, toilet and a walk in shower. High ceilings, modern lighting and multiple ceiling fans throughout. All modern fixtures. Extremely clean and well organized. This cabin is single level with a contemporary/open floor plan. Central heat (propane). On demand tankless water heater. All LED lighting. Covered front porch. Great cell phone/internet reception! The cabin is easily accessed off of paved CR 501 (directly across from McCarthy's place) by a well maintained short dirt road. 4 wheel drive is recommended for winter driving conditions. Short/easy walk to the Rocky Mountain General Store and Vallecito Lake Event Center. The Cabin also has walkable and drive-able Lake access for ice fishing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and more! Vallecito is quaint, tight knit community. It's the perfect wintertime get away for visitors and locals alike! During the winter, Vallecito is known for its established Nordic cross country ski track/trails as well as convenient access points for snowmobiling, sledding, and other winter/snow related activities. This cabin provides the perfect retreat for an out of town guest wanting to spend a winter in the Rockies or a local resident wanting a simpler and comfortable living experience for the winter season! Normal Drive Times: Approximately 20-25 minutes to Bayfield Approximately 30-35 minutes to Durango Approximately 1 hour to Purgatory Ski Mountain Approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Mountain *may vary depending on weather conditions* *Offsite laundry facilities at located at Blue Spruce RV park (1.5 miles away) or at the laundromat in Bayfield.
