(843) 640-0897 - The Hibiscus- 17 H Street - Located just off upper King Street in Charleston's Westside neighborhood, 17 H Street is a fully renovated Freedman's cottage originally constructed in the early 20th century. Features include quartz countertops, Viking appliances, ample closet storage with systems in place, a deep soaking tub, Rinnai tankless hot water, and many other high-end accents including granite tile flooring in the bathroom. The home has HDTV with Apple TV based apps. Exterior features include red brick and copper exterior accents, mahogany doors, a gas lantern, off street parking, and a fully fenced and landscaped yard. There is a rear gate which affords direct access to King Street. Rental includes utilities and yard maintenance. This urban home is conveniently located within walking distance of vibrant Upper King Street nightlife and restaurants, and is in immediate proximity to Little Jacks and Leon's restaurants. White Point Gardens as well as the Citadel, Hampton Park, and MUSC are all easily bikeable from this location. The location also affords easy vehicle access to I-26, Hwy 17 and the Ravenel Bridge. It is a wonderful access point to everything that the City of Charleston has to offer. Other things to note- Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
