New lease could start May 1st). We are buying a home in Banner Elk and do not need this rental as long as we thought! Unit is perfect for a single person or a couple looking to relocate quickly or take an extended visit in ski country AND bring their fur babies! Landlady will allow up to two pets, cats and dogs both accepted, but dog breeds must be medium to small size (please contact to discuss, but small pets only are her preference). Includes water, trash, cable, internet, neighborhood snow removal, and any propane left on site in the tank for $950 a month (Just filled tank on January 13th). The only bills not included are electricity and any propane refills you might need. Electric bill remains in landlady’s name so you do not have to provide a separate deposit. It is mailed to you directly. Very large living room with propane fireplace and a large sofa bed. Second bedroom (or spare room—this is what we use it for) is off the porch, and has a small half bath and a day bed. This spare room also includes a stacked washer and dryer. House is immediately next to beautiful golf course and very quiet. The roads in Linville Land Harbor get cleared very quickly by community crews, and the fireplace heats main room very well. New central heating and cooling system just installed in October. Also includes dishes, pots, pans, brooms, mops, a vacuum, cleaning supplies, blankets and pillows, silverware, yard tools—literally everything you would need to relocate quickly with your pets while you look for something more permanent like we did! 25-30 minutes from Boone, just a few minutes from Newland.
