The living room invites relaxation with a comfy couch and cozy fireplace, while the kitchen provides all the amenities needed to create delicious meals and lasting memories. Serve your home-cooked meals at the wooden dining table that comfortably seats six. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability with a $25 per hour fee. Banner Elk is a quaint mountain town located 30 minutes from Boone, home to Appalachian State University. This beautiful Avery County setting is surrounded by some of the highest mountains east of the Rockies, including Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain. The Blue Ridge Parkway traverses the county just six miles from town. Banner Elk is home to Lees McRae College and features a lively arts and crafts cultural scene, complete with an intimate pedestrian shopping district of upscale boutiques and outstanding restaurants. You will have the opportunity to witness and appreciate the hustle and bustle of farm life, adding a unique and enriching element to your stay. Farm staff may be present during your stay. Smoking is not allowed. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm as there are neighbors who live full-time all around. Please be courteous. It is highly recommended to have AWD or 4x4 while visiting during winter months.
