On the backyard level, you have your spacious private studio with a full private bathroom, a full kitchen, and access to the shared laundry room. The townhouse is centrally located in Silver Spring, a 6-minute drive/15-minute bus ride to the Glenmont Metro Station. The house is near public transportation stations, very bike-friendly, and within a short drive to the major DMV destinations. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet, and cozy, yet it takes advantage of quick and easy access to Randolph Rd and Georgia Ave. The house is close to many shopping areas (Lidle, Giant, Target, Costco, etc.) and within less than 15 minutes to FDA White Oak Campus, Downtown Silver Spring, 20 minutes to NIH, 25 minutes drive to UMD College Park and NASA, and about 30 to 40 minutes to almost anywhere in DC. You can walk to the closest bus station in less than 10 minutes and take the bus for 10 minutes to the Glenmont Metro station. There are many trails nearby, and the closest one is the Moonlight Trail, which is about a 7-minute walk from the house. Free street parking spaces are available within less than a 3-minute walk. PLEASE READ: I ONLY provide virtual keys to guests. The virtual smart lock ONLY works with the August app (so you need a smartphone and working WiFi/Bluetooth on it). I will communicate the instructions for that after you sign the lease contract and pay the refundable deposit fee. I don't have a spare physical key to share. Also, we share laundry machines. If you're planning to use any of them for an extended time, please let me know in advance and make sure you clean up after yourself.
