If you're staying in, the Modern Flat has all the right touches from original art and well-curated prints to brass cranes and vintage cocktail tumblers. And you'll stay cool with A/C on those warm summer days as you curl up with a movie on the 50" TV. Have a large group? More furnished units are available in the building! Stroll to the Springs' newest food and drink venues like Atomic Cowboy, Denver Biscuit Company, Cork & Cask, Frozen Gold or local favorites like Urban Steam or Shugas. Night life and food abounds and you'll return to a quiet and safe street. Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo, and the Air Force Academy are all 15 minutes away, and the highway is just 2 minutes away. Everything is new--from the bright, stainless steel appliances and subway tile of the kitchen to the chic modern furnishings and pristine floors of the living space. Cleaning before checkout is available upon request at an additional charge. BEDROOMS There is 1 bedroom with a Queen bed with its own closet and ample natural light through a south-facing window. Towels and sheets are all provided. LIVING ROOM SLEEPING We have a twin roll-away with sheets and extra towels available in the closet as well so you can sleep up to 4 guests. KITCHEN Well-outfitted with all the tools you'll need to prepare and enjoy a wonderful meal. There's a back door through a "mud room" that leads to private parking, later to be converted into a yard area. BATHROOM Curved glass shower, pristine new tile, and sparkling clean. Sorry but we don't have a tub. Guests can access all but a locked cleaning closet. I love helping guests make the most of their time in our beautiful area and I live very close by, but I give my guests their space unless I'm asked to help out or say "hi" in person. I will be available throughout your stay and love to give advice on local restaurants, attractions, and adventures. You'll be right off Nevada and a few blocks south of Colorado Ave, so while mosts guests bring transportation, you can certainly catch buses from here with reasonable convenience. The southern part of Downtown is undergoing a serious revival--lots of new restaurants, bars, and the Olympic Museum. Rent a bike from the nearby Old Town Bike Shop and live the Colorado urban dream! Check out new dining and nightlife at Cork and Cask or Denver Biscuit Company; or opt for perennial local favorites like Shugas (check out the blue-collar beer of the day AND pretentious beer of the day) and Urban Steam (for when you want whiskey and a waffle of course). You'll be right off Nevada and a few blocks south of Colorado Ave, so while mosts guests bring transportation, you can certainly catch buses from here with great convenience.
