The inn, built in 1837, has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve its original farmhouse character. While there is no restaurant on-site, guests can enjoy a shared area equipped with a fridge, toaster, and microwave, as well as a coffee bar area with a water bubbler. Two spacious dining areas are available for guests to enjoy their meals. Free parking is available on the premises. Additional amenities include outlet covers, a highchair, and a crib, all available upon request. Guests can also enjoy the deck with a grill during the warm season. Located near Mount Sunapee, guests can explore the resort, enjoy ski and snowboard lessons, or discover local attractions like Gunnison Lake, the Ruth LeClair Memorial Trail, Balthazar’s Ice Shack, Tippicanoe Campground, and Sanctuary Farm. This area is one of the state's best-kept secrets, offering a blend of adventure and tranquility. This is a non-smoking property, and violators will incur a $250 fee. The front door is secured 24/7 and can only be accessed with a code provided in the check-in instructions. Guests should be comfortable being self-sufficient from check-in to check-out. Quiet hours are observed from 9 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and 10 PM to 9 AM on weekends. The inn is eco-friendly, providing towels and washcloths per person for three days at a time. The garage and basement are off-limits to guests, and no pets or intoxicated guests are allowed on the premises.
