HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Total incompetency every single day. They cannot process rent payments without screwing things up at every opportunity. They will apply your rent check to a different unit and then give a little "oops". But at the same time, they will immediately start eviction based on their error. Making it worse, you cannot ever rely on PRINTED MAILED documentation. Write a check based on that statement, good luck getting them to accept the check. Tenants are expected to conjure up some random number in their ledger, otherwise they will not accept payment. Making it worse, the online payment system demands far too many details about your bank account. They literally wanted to know if my checking account was interest bearing. Why the heck does a landlord and its payment processor need to know if your bank account is interest bearing? It also wanted to know when the account was opened. Again, why does a landlord or payment processor need to know when the account was opened? They also wanted to know if I had a nickname for my account. Again, what purpose does that serve? It is really sad when a huge national bank is the hero of the story. It was my bank that notified me of all the things the payment processor wanted to know about my account. NEVER RENT HERE! It isn't worth it.

The property management consistently plays pass the blame game to others. If there is a dispute between neighbors they tell you that you cannot go talk to them and to call the security company in which they either hang up or do nothing. Then when the security issue is brought up to them they say call the cops. Additionally, there was a fire in the apartment next to ours which left all the wiring burnt for phone and internet for surrounding apartments. They told us multiple times that they do not have a plan to fix these services and offered no help to expedite the solution to fix the problem. It has now been a month without the internet. Save yourself the issues and headaches and live somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars and write a review, I would. This place is the bottom of the barrel for Casas Adobes apartment complexes. First, they will rent to anybody without a background check. We had the misfortune of living in the same building as drug dealers which ultimately resulted in a shootout that left one man dead, so if you value your safety do not rent here. In addition, they will nickel and dime you at every turn and charge you for full cleaning at move-out even if you have left your complex in pristine condition. Do not rent here, just don't

My floor was rotting away in the kitchen and on the front porch. The counter top by the sink was sunken in. Paint was constantly peeling off the balcony. The front door had a large gap between the door frame like it had been previously kicked in multiple times. Metal screen door had holes in it. Tiles cracked by the fireplace. AC unit was never able to cool my apt below 85. The dryer took about 5 cycles for even a small load to dry. Not to mention the doors to the laundry area would always fall off the track(when maintenance was contacted, all they did was set the door back in place and clean the lint screen of the dryer. Which didn't fix anything, by the way. I did those things multiple times on my own.) None of these issues were caused by me, nor were they ever resolved. HSL properties purchased the old leases from the previous owner, PEM, and were totally unhelpful when it came to military families. I can't remember a day when the sheriff's dept wasn't on the property dealing with a problem resident. Overall, if you think you're getting a better deal because the Enclave is in an OK part of town, you're better off looking at one of the neighboring apartments or even down on Prince Rd. Terrible experience here. I wish I could go back in time and get the money I wasted on this place back.
