Tucson is a lively oasis in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, surrounded by numerous mountain ranges. The city of Tucson is as scenic as it gets, seeing as it’s surrounded by beautiful nature preserves and mountainous terrain, including Saguaro National Park, Mount Lemmon, and Tucson Mountain Park – making it an excellent place for renters who love mountain biking, hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
The University of Arizona is just a few blocks from Downtown Tucson, and the more than 40,000 students enrolled at the university contribute to the city’s eclectic arts, entertainment, and nightlife scenes. Downtown Tucson has undergone major renovations since the early 2000s, blossoming into a thriving hub of activity for residents and visitors alike.
The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base lies near the center of the city, and is one of Tucson’s biggest employers for armed service personnel and civilians alike.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Emerald Pointe Apartments "Tucson's Best K...
Please do not believe the amenities you see listed on this website. This property is absolutely NOT smoke free (our apartment constantly smells like weed or tobacco from our neighbors through thin walls), there is not a washer/dryer in every unit, the spa is extremely green with algae and the pool closes when the office managers leave (at 5pm or earlier) because they have no trust in their residents. Only one of the grills actually works and the office won't fix them (this one working grill is inside the pool area so good luck after 5pm). There is certainly no breakfast/concierge in the office I don't even know where they got that idea. Internet is NOT included, and the only "views" you're going to get is of a road, a parking lot, or the top of someone's house.
My mother died of bladder cancer while renting from these apartments. There was a year lease signed, and halfway thru mom was diagnosed with cancer. We found out a lot of items that a person should consider when renting here. The apartment's cooling system. The system was thunderous, and the temperature never kept at a stable level. We found that the cost of cooling the apartment was way above what was paid in other apartments. We found that the organization that owns and manages the property will not give their information. They only let the office manager talk to residents. Raise the question, why? This brings up the next issue; when mom was in the apartment, they went thru 3 or 4 office managers which each did not know what the last said or did. With not be able to talk to another respective of the organization, you are stuck. If you can't resolve your disagreement with the office manager, then where does a person go? Maybe the lease has changed, but this is what we found. There is no address or phone number. Emerald Pointe LLC, who you sign an agreement with, but who are they? The lease is one year lease, but they will not let you out of it even if there is death. They did not try to rent it out. Even give a 60-day notice.
Just moved in January 7th. Beautiful apartment. Management was great. Frank the maintenance man was very helpful with a couple of issues. Fixed immediately. Can't understand why anyone wouldn't want to live here. Great neighbors, quiet atmosphere-just what we wanted. Recommend highly
Moved in February 2017. On September of 2017. I came home after a weekend out of town on September 18 to find my apartment flooded with water still raining down from the unit above. 80% of the carpet in my apartment was soaked, bubbles of water formed on the walls and ceiling and dripping water through the electric light fixtures and the ceiling fan (I have pictures and videos of all this). My bed, my tv and my dinner table were all ruined and the unit smelled awful. I went to the front office to let them know and at this point a lady named Carol was there. It was my belief that my unit needed extensive repairs and uninhabitable. I asked if I could move to another unit and she said I could but it would be a 250 dollar transfer fee, plus deposits, plus a new lease. I asked to be let out of my lease and was told I would be assessed a penalty. She later said I could move to a new unit at no cost, but that was later reneged. I told Carol I have a son that stays with me and the unit was in no condition to be lived in by an adult let alone a child. I had a fear of mold and this happening again. Her response: “that’s apartment living for you.” I was upset to say the least but it turns out Carol had no power to make those decisions and the property manager, “Cheryl” was the one with authority. I asked multiple times to speak with Cheryl but was denied everytime. They brought in carpet cleaners to suck up the water and two industrial strength blowers were installed to dry everything. They ran day and night for a week. They were kind enough to put me in another unit while repairs were done, although the AC in that unit didn’t work. I told Carol Multiple times that the AC didn’t work and she said she’d take care of it but she never did. I was not compensated for being displaced for a week for my electric bill that doubled because of the blowers inside. The repairs consisted of the bubbly paint being peeled off and repainted. The dry wall was never opened up, no mold test was ever done and the musty smell didn’t leave my unit for a month. I had to hire a cleaning crew to clean my apartment after ‘repairs’ were done and I had no help moving my stuff from my temporary unit. Cause of the flooding was a burst water heater in the unit above. So I was going to renew because surely this wouldn’t happen again. It did.. Apartment flooded again from unit above, was displaced for 2 days in April 2018
