Property Ratings at Emberwood
I’ve lived here for over a year, and it’s quiet most of the time. Staff are very friendly and helpful! I was impressed with how quickly maintenance would get things fixed whenever something needed fixing. Had a few issues the first few months of living here, especially with big roaches kept appearing and freaking me out, and 100s of nats last summer/fall, which maintenance and pet control finally got resolved; but otherwise I really like it here. Price is reasonable, feel safe, and no water issues from all the rain we get in Louisiana.
The apartments are excellent. I've lived here 3 years and enjoyed it. The apartments are nice and the grounds are pretty and well maintained. The office staff is very friendly and very easy to interact with. Maintenance is taken care of timely and they are very courteous. I would highly recommend the complex.
Been here several years and have really enjoyed living here. Easy access to main arteries in Lafayette. Nice apartment with all the ameneties. Repairs are always quick with nice people. The grounds are well kept with plenty of shade trees. Love walking around the property. Friendly neighbors. The property management staff are very courteous and helpfull.
If you are looking for a place with low traffic, intentional staff and kept up facilities, don't look anywhere else! Emberwood does a great job at checking in to make sure things are running well, address maintenance issues the next day or give a notice of when they can expect to help you out. Come join the family!!
Quite place and near everything. Clean pools and clean grounds. Office staff is pleasant and super helpful. Maintenance is quick on work orders
Been living here since hurricane Ida and it was very reasonable for the budget. The complex is very clean and accommodating to any needs I may have. It’s mins away from all shopping centers and plenty of restaurants. Definitely a place where you can raise children.
Since day one the staff and service employees here have been very responsive. Very quiet area, grounds are kept up nicely every week. All in all great location and service for their prices.
I have been living here for a little over 3 years. The staff is very friendly and always ready to meet the needs of their residents whether big or small.
So many things! The grounds are beautiful and well kept! The layout has many safety features which is a constant comfort. Beautiful apartments built solidly to reduce noise. Helpful friendly staff, competent maintenance crew. When problems arise, things get fixed. Living here is really like being at home, the entire staff treats you like family! Parking is adequate and ample, with good lighting all around.
My mother has been a resident for several years. Everyone from the front desk to maintenance have been so helpful. My mother is always telling me how everyone is so nice. Knowing she’s happy and safe makes me happy!
To say that this is my first apartment, they were very helpful from the time I applied to the time I moved in. It wasn’t a difficult process at all, they did all they could. Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Amber are the sweetest and very helpful throughout it all!
The staff is always so helpful and sweet! I’ve lived here 2 years and it’s the best place I’ve been to. Very quiet and good atmosphere. I won’t be moving anytime soon!
One of the best apartment complexes we have ever lived at, very clean, the management always listens to your needs and gets to them the very same day if they possibly can, very private and nestled in a wonderful neighbourhood.
I currently live here, it has been close to a year. Management - is pretty good, Ember, Jennifer all of them are not only very responsive but take care of the concerns too. Apartment Building is old as it was build around 1984, but rent is reasonable too, compare to some other apartments. It rains a lot in Lafayette(for those who are coming from different state) but I have not seen water logging issues in the street or anything like that. Pretty satisfied.
The apartments are built well and have an extremely homey feel as soon as you walk in. The neighbors are very helpful and kind and want to get to know you. The best part of the apartments though are the fireplaces, especially because they bring people together
Love love love this complex. I have felt safe and at home since I moved in 2020.
These apts are well built, which is very important to me. Family friendly, safe and family environment. They are tucked away between 2 neighborhoods. Quiet, room for children to play and have 2 pools. The ladies in the office are the most courteous I’ve encountered in a complex. Grounds are well kept and maintenance is quick and thorough. I can’t say enough good about this complex and staff! Come take a tour and see for yourself. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
From model viewing to receive my keys, I've felt welcome. Kinda feels like family. Clean, well kept apartments and grounds. So far, it seems to be a quiet community. I'm looking forward to my new home.

I have been a resident here for 6 years and I really feel at home. I love the fact that the apartments come with a washer and dryer and a huge closets. Anytime I have a maintenance issue the office staff is very quick to respond. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a quiet clean place.
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I've lived here for 16 months at this point and I cannot get out of here soon enough. Originally signed an 8 month lease to have temporary housing upon first moving to Lafayette. Got trapped into signing another lease because they wanted 60+ days notice to vacate (during August which is the worst time to find housing in Lafayette due to UL resuming classes) Bottom line... Unless going to sleep to the smell of stank weed coming from the apartment above you and waking up to a roach crawling on your arm is your thing, highly recommend you look elsewhere.

i have lived at the apartment complex for over a year. The apartments are not the most updated but they are clean. With huge walk in closets. Smaller size work out room but what I need for cardio. Two pools in the complex. The staff is very friendly and prompt to fixing any issues with apartment. Over all no complaints nice relaxed neighborhood.
