Neighborhood - Inglewood

Inglewood provides beauty and history just 20 minutes from Downtown Nashville. This neighborhood includes the fantastic and mysterious Tanglewood Historic District, a collection of cabins and log houses dating back more than 200 years. This historic district stretches along the Cumberland River and was once known as the town of Haysborough. When Gallatin Road was constructed around Haysborough in 1839, the little town was all but forgotten, and much of it was lost due to a dam built on Cheek Lake in 1927.

Treat yourself to a day strolling through the scenic parks or spend an evening on the town at Sips Cafe, the Village Pub and Beer Garden, or the Mitchell Delicatessen. Attractions lie at the center of this Nashville suburb, offering residents access to recreational activities in nearby Nashville or family fun time at the town's Heritage Festival and Cherry Blossom Festival each year.
