Wedged between the Cape Fear River and Carolina Beach Road, Echo Farms is a beautiful neighborhood about five miles south of Downtown Wilmington. Echo Farms Golf & Country Club winds through the center of the neighborhood, making this the ideal neighborhood for golfing enthusiasts, and nearby Halyburton Park provides more natural beauty with a nature preserve, picnic areas, a walking/bicycling trail, and a playground. Echo Farms is also five miles southwest of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and 12 miles away from Cape Fear Community College. For those who enjoy boating, Watermark Marina is just outside the neighborhood.

I contacted Element Barclay the beginning of August about moving in August 15th and they were so understanding, helpful, and their employees communication was unmatched. I’ve never rented from a property that was so organized. The appliances are top notch, many great options for different floor plans, and the landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. Dog friendly community as well!
I feel so blessed that I found this quiet and safe community to live in. I have wonderful neighbors, a great staff of people working here and incredible surroundings (the pool and grounds are always clean and perfect)! This is the best place in Wilmington to live and get to call home!

location is great, but I would advise potential renters to think about the congestion, more building being done and what it would be like for them. The shops etc. may not appeal to everyone. As I said before, the maintenance and office staff are wonderful. All ready to listen and help in any way.

Element Barclay is a great place to live. They have great amenities and promote community involvement with activities (food truck visits, donuts in the clubhouse, social activities, etc.) Each unit is modern, clean, and well maintained at move-in and during our rental period. The Staff is communicative, responsive and friendly and treats residents as family. Can't find any negatives to our experience here.

I am a brand new renter, but so far all the great reviews about Element Barclay have been true. I am very happy with my decision. The staff is very friendly and maintenance is very quick to fix anything.
Element Barclay is a very clean and has many amenities that make our stay here a plus. Being close to Dr's and the hospital is a big plus. Also the theater, restaurants and the office complex makes it convenient to even walk to. A good mix of retail places. When the Extended Stay Hotel is finished it will be a place visitors can stay if there is no room in their apt.

At move-in there was a roach infestation, yellow stained shower, unchanged water filter, etc.. Office does not pick up my calls. Front office no longer answers my calls although i appreciate the sr. community manager's involvement in trying to turn this experience around and the personal investment she has taken on to rectify this issue. Maintenance is great and answers tickets in a timely manner

The apartment kitchens and huge and impressive. Community clubhouse is clean and updated. The amenities are tremendous. I'm really looking forward to beautiful pool experience when the temperature warms up. Overall, I would highly recommend Element Barclay.

This community is beautifully maintained and the staff couldn't be more helpfull. Its a very peaceful, quiet living environment but quite comfortable at the same time. The maintenance team are extremely accommodating and compedent .when I did have a slight issue with my air conditioning system it was quickly rectified and over appologized for. The ladies in the office always great you with a warm welcoming smile and eager to help in anyway. Again its a very comfortable place to live. It would be a huge asset to have a small playground for children in addition to the dog park and beautiful ammenities geared for adults. A small play area is also a gateway for neighbors to get to know eachother when congregating around watching the kids play, discussing schools and outside activities. Otherwise I'm very happy with my decision to chooses Barclay Element above the others to live at post relocating blindly from a different state. The staff's friendly demeanor and beautiful grounds was my overall deciding factor.....keep up your great work in making new residents feel so welcomed and at home.....forever greatfull. Kerrin Smith
