Echo Farms Golf & Country Club winds through the center of the neighborhood, making this the ideal neighborhood for golfing enthusiasts, and nearby Halyburton Park provides more natural beauty with a nature preserve, picnic areas, a walking/bicycling trail, and a playground. Echo Farms is also five miles southwest of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and 12 miles away from Cape Fear Community College. For those who enjoy boating, Watermark Marina is just outside the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Element Barclay Station
Element Barclay Station is a great place to live. The apartments are beautiful! Rooms are spacious, and lots of windows!! I love my view of the gorgeous colorful sunsets and you can't beat the location. The staff here is the best!! Very nice and always helpful. Avery is awesome. She is always so welcoming and knows how to get things done. Anytime I have an issue (which is not often) she makes sure it is taken care of. The location here is ideal. Walk to restaurants, movies and my dentist too! Food Lion and the new Harris Teeter less than a half mile away. Downtown 3+ miles, Independence Mall 5 miles, Wrightsville beach less than 10 miles. It 's a great place to live!

This community is priced among the more expensive complexes in Wilmington and does have nice amenities. However... there is ZERO soundproofing between the apartment above or below. You can literally hear every footstep from the apartment above and can hear even the slightest base from the television or music from the apartment below. It really is a shame the developer cut corners on soundproofing these apartments that are suppose to be "luxury." Think twice before spending the high rent at Element Barclay Station if you don't want to constantly hear your neighbors above or below.
