Located in the heart of Central Nebraska along the banks of the Platte River, Kearney offers residents big-city amenities with small-town ease. Regarded as the “Sandhill Crane Capital of the World,” Kearney is known for hosting a large migration of Sandhill Cranes every year from late February to early April.
In addition to spectacular viewings of cranes, Kearney provides a host of recreational opportunities with quick access to the Platte River, numerous parks and golf courses, and over 18 miles of scenic trails in town. Kearney also features historical trails, with the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trails all converging through the region.
History is celebrated in Kearney, which contains a multitude of diverse museums, from the Museum of Nebraska Art to the Nebraska Firefighters Museum and everything in between. Home to the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Kearney has abundant cultural offerings in addition to shopping options downtown and at the local mall.

Property Ratings at Element 30 Apartments
Great staff, maintenance and amenities. You get what you pay for for sure, this is a great community with fantastic management.
Everyone is friendly. Michelle, Polly, and Kale are wonderful people. We had a pool party for the dogs in October before the pool was closed for the winter. The common room feels like my (very large) living room. There is almost always someone there to chat with or just watch tv. We have also had a Christmas Cookie exchange party and of course a New Year's Party. The hot tub is open all winter, the exercise room is excellent. I like that I can pick up my mail and take out the trash without leaving the building. My dog has lots of dog friends and there are always treats for him in the office. Lots of parking, and garages if you like.
These Apartments are so very nice, but so very expensive for the area. They are not meant for family or local residents, but for college kids with roommates.
These apartments are made specifically for college students with roommates… was very excited to have new apartments available in the area because the area NEEDS new apartments and/or housing! Unfortunately the prices are extremely high for the average family.
