The layout of the apartments are perfect! Plus the addition of an elevator made the move in process the easiest I have ever been a part of. Each building having their own address really helps to pinpoint where every apartment is for deliveries. Very well thought out locationing of the apartments. We have lived here since 2019. Element 170 is a community with comfortable apartments, security, family and pet friendly neighborhood. It is close to the Max Station transportation system, lots of nature and walking trails. The maintenance crew is amazing and always does a great job. The office staff is friendly and always there to help you. If you are thinking of moving, this is a place that I can recommend to live pleasantly.

We are living in Element 170 Apartments since 2019. The first apartment was on the third floor with 2 rooms, balcony and view towards the MAX Elmonica station, excellent view! We are now in a very nice and spacious 3 bedroom downstairs apartment with covered parking and a storage unit. The apartment complex is very well located, practically next to the Elmonica MAX station without feeling like you constantly hear the trains, nearby we have COSTCO and Fred Meyer. The management staff is friendly, helpful and professional and not to mention the maintenance staff who are very attentive and have an excellent knowledge of their work. The pool is great and they even had a BBQ available to use. The toilets in the pool area were immaculate, very clean and accessible from the pool area. Close to nature walking trails, the neighborhood is generally pretty quiet.

Unmatched Staff and service

I’ve had the pleasure of living in these apartments for almost a year and a half after living in 5 different apartments the past four years. This is honestly the best apartments I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The service team is quick and responsive and the leasing staff is not only the friendliest I’ve ever had but also the most helpful going above and beyond for their residents. I recently had my car in wrongfully towed and they assisted me in getting it back without paying a fine. Bravo to all of the amazing incredible workers in one of, if not the best locations in Beaverton.

My experience at Element 170, in my location has been rather mediocre. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors really easily, the road noise is terrible, people don't pick up after their dogs, the windows are cheap and there seems to be no insulation. Your home gets far too hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The parking lot is only small compact spaces and the neighborhood is full of vehicles, making it difficult to navigate and see when entering and exiting the complex.

There is good and bad for Element 170. Being next to the MAX station is one. Great transportation, but you get a lot of transients "after hours" per se. Inside the apartment is great. Updated and plenty of counter space. The parking spaces are small and so are the garages. Small sized sedan is perfect if you live here. The layout of the 2 bedrooms are great. Plenty of space for 2-3 people. 4 is pushing it.

I love Element170! I have lived here for a year now and look forward to renewing my lease ! They have been amazing from the first time I met them. I visited twice and chose a nice 2/2 with the leasing agent. This a special place to live with awesome evenings walking the neighborhood, a brand new playground and community garden nearby. The employees are attentive and always helpful especially during Covid-19- they have been exceptional in their service to their leasees. Living near the Trimet Maxline and good shopping nearby make this an even better place. Thanks Element170!

Gret place to call home

Since moving to Element 170 the staff has been very friendly and informative and made the process so easy from applying online to e-signing my lease. Since living here I have seen some great changes from package lockers , new lights , upgraded vinyl flooring and a TRX and pull-up bar In the gym that’s open 24hr’s for tenants to use for convience. The manager is always willing to listen and resolve any issues and the staff is friendly and informative . Great place to call home

Awesome location but terrible management and staff

There have been a plethora of issues with Element 170 and their management, ranging from stolen property to sending my final account statement to collections. When my property (a bicycle) was stolen, within the first month of my tenancy, the management there did not care (all they said was ‘I am sorry, file a police report’) instead of heightening security around the area. There have been rumors of multiple break-ins and drug addicts roaming the property. In the process of moving out of Element 170, I was given authorization to temporarily park in the handicap parking spot while loading my car with my belongings. During that occasion, a privately-hired security towed my car and when I brought this matter to Element 170’s management, asking for the contact information for the management of the private-security company, Element 170 kept on pushing the problem and never resolved it. Upon moving out, Element 170 sent me a final account statement bill (containing the moving out fees) and while disputing the charges on the account, Element 170 sent the bill to a collections agency without getting back to me on any deductions on the bill. This is very unethical and wrong for any company to do while disputing charges, especially given that the manager explicitly mentioned that they would not send it to a collections agency until the charges were finalized (which they were NOT).

Luxury Living in the Heart of Beaverton!

Element 170! Luxury living in the heart of Beaverton! It must be luxury, because I've never lived in a nicer neighborhood that had nightly drug deals! Between that and the junky downstairs neighbor with frequent domestic issues, I feel like I'm living in hollywood! But don't let the community fool you with its extravagance, the units themselves are astounding. The paper thin walls make sure you can hear each and every haymaker the drunk next door throws at his wife. Well, at least you might if your refrigerator is quieter than mine. Gotta love those brand new appliances! On that note, the kitchen design is unbelievable. As in, you cannot believe it. A small, cozy U shaped kitchen with plenty of counter space and only 1, that's right, count em, ONE drawer! I've never heard of a kitchen with only one drawer, but I am not a wealthy man, so who knows? Maybe this is what the kitchens in the finest Villas in Paris do! And that one drawer, is the smallest drawer you have ever seen. It might seem like a petty quibble to pick, but lets see how you like it after dumping 2 grand into moving into the place and have to find a spot to put your silverware! Maybe eating with your hands is all the vogue in those french villas, so they don't need your low brow eating utensils. If I didn't know any better, the only silverware my neighbors need are spoons! Lets talk amenities, shall we? Well, if you're one of the 40 million or so smokers in the united states, go somewhere else! They have a strict no smoking on the premises policy, which feels a bit unfair considering you can smell the pot smoke coming from at least three units on every building. They have a gym too. And a pool. Neither of these things are even remotely large enough to accommodate the large numbers of people living here. Better hope none of your "Brand new!" appliances break down, as when my washing machine clogged, it took 3 weeks to get the issue addressed! After calling and leaving several messages of increasing rage, they finally came by and fixed it. But by then I was used to having what was essentially a bucket of molding swamp water in my house. LUXURY LIVING! In short, cutting the facade, these apartments are nothing more than a fancy looking, overly expensive crack house. Live here only if you are gullible, hate your money, or are looking to sell drugs.

Awesome place to gather yourself.

My co-worker and I moved into Element 170 about a month ago and our experience here had been great. Smooth, hassle-free move in with not a single hidden fee or fine print. Awesome. Units are a little on the small side, so I wouldn't recommend families bigger than 3-4. Great for bachelors or young couples I'm sure. With the housing market the way it is in the Portland area, you'd be really lucky if you found something this nice for cheaper. Like, so crazy lucky. Again, great apartments. ONE HUGE DRAWBACK. Okay so you can't smoke. Anywhere. You get a balcony, but you can't smoke a cigarette on it? This is a smoke-free community. That's so awesome for the people who don't smoke but come on, treat us like adults. They say in the lease that is they find you smoking on the property that it could constitute a termination of lease. That's insane. Seriously. Other than that one thing, move here!

Great apts, great location, great staff

The office staff are extremely nice and helpful. I can't say enough about how nice they are. The location is fantastic - close to the max and a really wonderful neighborhood to live in and walk around. I feel safe here. If you have a larger dog, it's great because there are no weight restrictions like most apt complexes have, but I also have not had any issues with noise or other problems because of the dogs so far. The apartments themselves are on the small side on square footage, especially storage is an issue - very small closets and in my unit, I have only one drawer in the kitchen and none in the bathrooms. The cabinets shelves go up so high that I had to buy a 2-step step stool in order to reach the upper shelves. On the other hand, the cabinets, counters and back splashes in the kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. My apt on the 4th floor has a vaulted ceiling. Other touches such as moldings, blinds, etc. are quality.The appliances are basic but nice. I am happy with the look and feel of my apartment. These are also brand new which is so very nice! Some of the units have elevators and some do not so if you live on the 4th floor w/ no elevator you'll get a lot of exercise. The cost may be a little high for some for the square footage, but they have some great move-in deals: 10-11 mo lease comes with 6 weeks free and 18 mo lease comes w/ 8 weeks free, so I think that's a great deal. If you sign within a certain time frame, they'll waive the security deposit and give you a spin on their prize wheel (good prizes like a 50" flat screen TV, air conditioner, etc.). There is some noise from the Max, as it is very close, but it has not bothered me at all. Some units are closer than others to the Max. There is also work going on to get units ready in another bldg. close by and I am woken up around 7:30 in the morning which is not fun. If you usually get up then for work anyway, it won't be an issue much. I'm told that they will be done soon anyway. There is a different apt. complex being built close by and there is a some noise from that, as well, but it's a little further away, so not too bad. I have not used the pool yet as it is closed for the season, but it looks very nice if a little small. I also haven't used the fitness center yet, but it looks nice if small also. It is 24-hour access w/ cardkey, so great for everyone's schedules. The garbage area has seemed to be a little overflowing at times. It may be because a lot of people have been moving in so more garbage than usual? I hope that's the case. Overall, I am really happy so far with my decision to live here and would recommend it.

So Excited!!!

I just paid my deposit for an amazing two bedroom, it is the perfect size and layout with tons of windows in my office space!! The apartments are brand new and such a great location!! Katie and Sarah have been so helpful and even took me on a hard hat tour to make certain I picked the perfect apartment!! So excited and can't wait to move in next month!!! Plus - I got my first mont for free!!
