Cibolo is a suburban city located about 25 miles northeast of Downtown San Antonio. Positioned right along Interstate 35, the city’s easy access to the urban core makes it a popular option for commuters, and the terrific public schools and low crime rate boost the appeal for families as well. Randolph Air Force Base is right next door, and many service members as well as civilian military employees stationed there choose to live in Cibolo.
The community’s landscape is almost entirely made up of residential neighborhoods, with a rental market largely composed of single-family homes. Main Street features a small cluster of historic storefronts, housing such popular local hangouts as Harmon’s BBQ and Old Main Ice House.

Property Ratings at El Sereno
This is revised from my earlier post regarding a circuit breaker constantly shutting off every night. Originally the maintenance staff discovered a loose screw but the problem continued. The maintenance supervisor, Pablo decided the breaker needed replacing, which did fix the problem. Both Maintenance men did an excellent job. They were curteous,, professional, and knowledgeable. I believe the new staff at ElSereno are really trying to make things better for all of us here NOW if they can just stop those fire alarms from going off??
I put El Sereno with 2 stars only because I moved in here almost 2 months ago and my apartment still has things messed up that I wrote on the list that I turned in at my move in date. The patio door has been a major issue from day one and still is. As I cleaned my windows sills the other day a screen was not properly placed in. The sliding door to my closet does not shut correctly. They also know that my front door is not correct and that there is a dent in my refrigerator door. I’m also paying more then 30% of my income which is the maximum requirement for anyone to pay in a house payment or rent. That said, they should include a stackable washer dryer.
