Looked at so many apartment complexes in Yuma, and found that this place is reasonably priced, in the middle of town so everything is literally just 5 minutes away, and staff is so helpful and genuinely care.

I love my apartment at El Encanto. There is just enough space and the location is perfect for me. It's cental to all of my family, I can get anywhere pretty quick and bonus points for being so close to Chile Pepper and The Crossing! I love being able to relax by the gorgeous pool with friends and relax on my days off. Love living here!

I like living here it’s nice and all but I hate how my upstairs neighbors bed squeaks so bad and there constantly walking around making noise all night like go to sleep or what are u doing ...like the outside space it’s nice to walk your kids or yourself and the laundry place is nice since it has a lot of washers and dryers but I don’t like the fact that it closes at a certain time, would be nice if it was 24/7 and if they replaced the machines with brand new ones because there old, they also need to update there coin operated machines to like a card that u fill up with money or something...because there’s not even a coin machine u can trade your dollars in for coins. I like how the closets in the apartments are big and the kitchen is small but it can be worked with. Other than that there’s a lot of cats outside idk if they belong too people or there stray but it’s weird seeing so many cats wandering outside. I sometimes miss my old place but it’s better here I guess I use to live upstairs and it was horrible going up and down with groceries or laundry.

PROS: cheap rent, military discount, utilities included, hooked up for wifi and free basic cable, decent location CONS: Staff and management do not care and are not knowledgeable about any of the units, they do not fix anything in a timely manner, none of my appliances work and they do not fix them, they dont take down your name or apartment number when you need to submit a work order, very small space, dishwashwer doesnt work, oven doesnt work, no hot water, no light in bedroom, cant move units before your lease is up without paying $200 dollars even if nothing works in your unit and they dont fix it, staff said they cant guarentee that appliances work in any unit, pool is not open year round as promised, laundry room was not open for 6 months and I was lied to when i moved in as they said it worked and in detail explained to me how it works, no storage, leaky plumbing, not properly insulated so electric is $120 for a 466sq ft apartment, management does not enforce pet cleanup on lawns, leasing office closes early and their phone number doesnt work, refrigerator is tiny. OVERALL, staff/management does not seem to care, and they will lie to you to get you out of the leasing office. I've tried to get my appliances/hot water fixed and they dont fix anything for months. All the appliances are old. The model apartments are they only ones with new appliances. You get what you pay for, however, they seem to be breaking laws in terms of the Arizona Tennant Rights. I will be moving and not recommending this place to anyone. In addition, after having been moved out for a few months, I recieved a bill from a collections agency for a bill that they never sent to me or attepted to call me about. Don't ever live here
I was moving from out of state to this community and due to circumstances beyond my control, I wasn't going to arrive in Yuma until well after the office was closed. This would have been very expensive for me. I called the office and Shelley agreed to meet me when I got to Yuma so that I could sign my lease and get my keys even though her work day had ended hours earlier. After signing my lease and walking in to my apartment, I was very pleased with my apartment, I can honestly say that this is the nicest apartment community I have ever lived in. I would like to say thank you to the management and their team for making this a great place to live.
At first glance, the apartment complex is appealing and has a modern look to it and the outside is very well kept. The models that they show you are also very beautiful and you just want to move in on the spot and want to yell "I'll take it!". But moving in is a different story. First couple on months have been a total nightmare. They gave me a studio with old,swollen cabinets in kitchen and bathroom, the cockroaches that come out are HUGE, the a/c unit is so old it smells moldy 24/7, the whole studio is so out dated I can go on with problems in the 2 months I have been here. The toilet has leaked on me several times and I have to clean the dirty water. I wish they would let me move out but they will sue if I do, considering I'm living in a disgusting complex to say the least. Do not lease here, you will regret it like I do.
El Encanto is very near to the center of Yuma. It is clean and has the standard amenities. It is safe and just a stone throws away from Yuma's largest hospital. I guess the cons are that it is an old apartment complex and as just the design is not updated and so are the house appliances that come with it. They have free water and basic cable tv though so its a plus. Overall i am happy with my stay there.
So far I've been here for 10 months. The rent isn't too bad. The laundry facilities are nice. They have a gas grill out next to the pool, but it's always locked up. Once I had a huge leak, there was water coming down from the ceiling. Someone came out that same day and fixed it, it was late at night. Only problem is that the haven't actually fixed the drywall. So the bathroom the leak was in hasn't been used in about a month. Other than that experience it's ok. The landscaping is always kept up with.
These are very comfortable apartments with plenty of space and very welcome heating options. Ours was a two bedroom unit (even though we only needed the one) with a full kitchen and plenty of space. The furnishings are modern and everything is on site. The technology is well applied from the door opening to the heating and the wi fi. The floors creaked dreadfully. Undercover parking was welcome..
