Historically one of the economic and cultural powerhouses of the Midwest, Detroit is full of people who are working towards redevelopment and revitalization. Known as the origin of the automobile industry, the Motor City is moving towards a future of economic opportunity with roots far beyond the world of cars. The cost of living is low while rental rates for apartments, condos, and houses are highly attractive for any budget.
Monuments paying tribute to Detroit’s rich history are everywhere while astonishing architecture and public artwork is scattered throughout the city. As the birthplace of Motown, Detroit has a long tradition of producing legendary musicians like Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder. This tradition continues today and it’s easy to find live performances from every genre.
The city is a great destination for sports lovers as one of the few American cities with major leagues in football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Eastpointe
Raphaela was a great tour guide and I was able to get help from her and the management company with the application. The process for applying isn’t overly complicated and if you have questions they’re responsive and helpful. The space and location are good for the price compared to other spots, air conditioning works and they have newer washing machines and dryers.
Don’t waste your money. the leasing office never responds unless they want their money. Packages are being stolen out of the building by other tenants and they don’t respond. The washers and dryers are absolutely disgusting. Everyone signed a petition for new ones but they won’t install them... just offered to roll us quarters.... no amenities. Neighbors are loud and on drugs. They shut the water off at random times. Not worth the price.
I have lived in this neighborhood for years. Love what you are doing in the East Village. Great look. If I didn't own my house i would live here.
I hate that I did. I did not want to give a star because they are not star worthy but in order for me to send this I had to give them a star. But please don't waste your time or your money.
I just called this place inquiring about viewing or setting an appointment to view a apartment. The gentleman on who answered the phone was very rude and sounded like he wasn't interested in selling any units. He simply said "They weren't showing any units today"... that was it... If you have available units and someone is interested, you would assume they would be more accommodating. Just by this first impression, I would not want to live at this place.
