The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Drake MidTown
I am a current resident of this building and unfortunately our experience has not been positive. Firstly, if you are a person trying to work from home this is not the place to live due to constant loud noises from the pool area where there is a speaker playing loud music and kids constantly screaming. The management unfortunately has not set certain hours where people can party at the pool and this can continue throughout the night even at 11 PM and nobody seems to respond to the complaints. Secondly, the issue with pests in the house namely cockroaches. So far we have made several complaints regarding dead and live roaches all over our three bedroom apartment and the response has been extremely slow. We were asked to purchase pest control sprays to deal with the situation until somebody would arrive almost a week later to spray the house. We were also very casually told that having cockroaches in houses/apartments is very common in Florida and because I am from out of state I might find it an issue. The situation has gone so out of control that we have pests in the kitchen and quite literally on the food.Thirdly, the office staff quite frankly do not respond to emails, voicemails or the answering service. As a working professional the only way that you can have a fix to your problem is to Take time off from work and physically go to their office during working hours to talk to an office person which honestly is extremely difficult as a lot of us have 8 to 5 jobs. The other important situation that we have brought up several times is the noise levels from upstairs neighbors due to poor building construction. We can hear every footstep, sliding of doors, closing doors, voices, toilet flushing, shower noises. I understand that as a person renting there are certain noises that we cannot avoid but the management has failed to tackle the situation of informing your neighbors when they make excessive noises at midnight waking you up at least 5 to 6 times every single night. Soundproofing curtains, white noise machines simply do not work in this building. I would strongly recommend people to consider the above issues before signing the lease in this place as we have been very unhappy and ignored. I hope this review helps and I truly hope the management of this place will finally do the right thing.
When you visit this property be sure to do a thorough walk-through of the multiple floors, the stairwells and the garage. The stairwells are often dirty and should be power washed (all floors) more often, in my opinion. The hallways are carpeted and have become dirty and stained on the first floors, especially near the elevator. You can find trash from your neighbors on the hall floors, and I don’t believe anyone vacuums the carpets regularly; at least I haven't seen this in the year that I have lived here. I have seen an older lady going around cleaning the elevators but that is all. Safety has become a concern for me as I have noticed in the last month neighbors are leaving the doors to the garage propped open. I have brought this concern to management, but it is still occurring daily. This property is uniquely built and is not a gated community so the doors remaining closed and locked is essential to our safety. The noise coming from your neighbors, above you, can be loud; depending on your neighbor. Unfortunately, I had a neighbor who walked very heavy and played loud music. If you are sensitive to noise, I would advise taking the highest floor. This apartment is built like a hotel and they have a valet trash service that each resident pays for; not optional. So keep in mind that 5 nights out of the week the halls are filled with trash and smell. I would like to add that my experience with Daniela & Shelby at the front office has always been positive. They have worked here my entire stay and they both have been nothing but kind and professional since day one. They have done their best to resolve many issues although I understand I lot of decisions come from upper management and not them. Also, my experience with the maintenance team has been great as well.
