Nice place to live with great management

I had been apartment hunting and finally came across Dorinda Vista. The manager was extremely friendly and welcoming, she answered all my many questions and truly helped me through this process. She made my experience better and really sealed the deal for me on living at this complex!

Treated very poorly

This apartment complex is a real joke! I would just keep looking if you you need a place to live. My family and I moved in 2 years ago because it was the only thing available during the pandemic. It looks nice from the outside but the management has been nothing but rude to us since we moved in. The pools are both dirty and closed most of the time. After 2 years of living here we are ready to move along. These Apts are not worth 1\2 of what the rent is! The office manager hides in her office and will not deal with anything when it is brought to her attention and when I ask for the supervisors number, she would not give it to me. So thanks for everything Jennifer, we're moving out!

Going into 6 years; Nice place!

I have just renewed again. Living at Dorinda Vista is easy and relaxing. The front office is always patient and understanding with any concerns and questions. Building issues are immediately scheduled with maintenance and taken in order unless it is a problem that may require immediate attention: like no AC on a day with 110 degree heat; which could be a potential life threatening issue. Minor repairs inside your home are always done with care for your environment. And lastly, especially nice is the effort our Leasing Office staff takes to decorate around holidays. After all, this is our home.

Great place to live!

Dorinda Vista has given me the most amazing experience so far! I moved 7 month months ago and the staff was so helpful. I love my apartment!

Very Comfortable here

I have lived here for three years and never have had any problems! The manager is wonderful as well as the staff and the apartments are spacious and overall have a lovely adobe like vibe. They keep the place clean and address to everyone's needs. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the place and love it here

Nice place to consider

We moved to the complex back in March 2014. We love it here. Never had any problems , girls in the office are very nice and very helpful. The maintenance crew is quick to respond and also very nice. The only thing I would like to have them enforce is keeping your patio and surroundings clean and not like a storage area .. A side from that no complaints. We have renewed our lease 3 times and have no regrets. We love it here!

Worst management company ever

Zero stars is My actual rating. I lived at this complex from October 2014-December 2015 and I have never dealt with a worse management company or business for that matter. -when signing my original lease, I was told my rent would increase after 12 months by a maximum of $5. After 12 months, my lease went up $25 and when I asked about this discrepancy, I didn't get any help. Basically told it was still a good price. -1 month after renewing my lease, my boyfriend got a transfer to Tucson and we decided to move in together. I requested to transfer my lease from a 1 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. I had to submit a formal written request and after two weeks of waiting and calling, I was denied a transfer citing it was against policy as of 1 year ago. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and Liz the office manager literally told me I could not. She said she didn't have a number to give me. That's unheard of. Long story short, after submitting an online appeal, that was again denied, the only option the company gave me was to break my lease, pay a $2000 fee, then rent the 3 bedroom. I even asked if I could pay a cleaning fee or something to help compensate but that was not allowed either. Needless to say, I paid the fee and got out as quickly as possible (they required a 30 day notice). -I was confident the move out inspection would be painless since I cleaned the place better than I received it and also patched and painted over the few areas I hung pictures (using 1/4 cup of paint from the company they tried to charge me for) and the place looked impeccable. However, the employee proceeded to make a list of charges including $10 for oven cleaning (small spill stain that I'm sure was there when I moved in but had no proof), $6 for stove drip pans which had a little grease, $10 for the underside of the microwave above the stove because it had some splash stains (looked like a boiling pot splashed a bit, nothing damaged), $40 for paint which he cited 3 small black scuff marks up at the top of the closet wall and some condensation in the bathroom. I called the manager and asked her to come look at the place because I felt the charges were not reasonable and she said she didn't have time and she relies on maintenance's findings. Again, absolutely no help from Liz. -overall, If you think life might happen anytime, or if you may create some normal wear and tear over time, then I wouldn't suggest living here. I've never been treated so poorly.

Great Locale

I moved to the Northwest area of the Tucson Valley a few months ago and Dorinda Vista was my first and only choice because of its great location and exceptional apartments. The Foothills Mall is less than a five minute walk, there are plenty of food options and shopping very close. Overall a great place to live.

Good place to live!!

I have their large 1 bedroom apartment, the kitchen & bedroom size is one of the largest I have ever seen in apartment communities it also comes with full size washer/dryer and a fireplace. I have never had any problems with my neighbors or with my apartment. I just received a renewal letter from the office to remind me my lease is coming up very soon and I definitely plan on signing another year lease! I highly recommend Dorinda Vista, very convenient location for employment, entertainment and shopping stores.

Dorinda Vista Apartments

This apartment community is superb. It is located conveniently behind the Tucson Foothills Mall and close to a variety of additional conveniences a home needs. The floor plans offer excellent square footage for the price. The environment is friendly, quiet and perfect for resting during the day or night. I would recommend this community for everyone.

Not the best

When you visit this location unless your really looking you won't see that the cabinets paint is coming off. There is mold growing in the bathrooms & the master bathroom is the size of a cruise line bathroom without the sink. If you get a three bedroom your second or third room will be over 80 degrees in the room even with the AC set at 72. Your dryer will take up to four cycles for your items to dry, which makes your electric bill go up. The company states they don't have money to buy new appliances. Be careful when you stop by because they will give you one price for your unit but when it's time to sign the paperwork the price goes up by an extra $50-$100. They fail to tell you that you are paying for your water, sewer, & trash separate from your as they say "Base Rent". Most places it is included in the rent. The grounds would be okay if residents would pick up after their animals. They also have a dog park that they didn't mention which is filled with dog po, which maintenance does not pick up. Save your money this place is not worth it.
