Loved my time spent at domus, but unfortunately had to move due to price increases. Ultimately decided to purchase a home outside of downtown was a better choice for me personally. I can’t not say enough good things about the location, staff, and building.

We rented a unit for our son who was attending college in Milwaukee and it was a wonderful experience. We had the apartment for three years and sadly didn't recently renew the lease because he graduated. We all loved, loved, loved everything about Domus. Location couldn't be better, located in the Third Ward with great shopping and a walkers paradise with the riverwalk, parks, shopping and the lake. Even our dog loved it. We always felt safe and hated to leave. No complaints from this family, it was just perfect.

I am going into my fourth year there now. The place is always very well maintained and clean and the couple issues I have had were handled very promptly and professionally. The staff have all been exceptional and always friendly. They even put up with me which is incredible in itself. You can’t go wrong here.

I just recently moved in and I have nothing but awesome things to say about this place. The location is great. The staff is super friendly. The amenities are amazing as well. The quality of the apartment is outstanding. It beats any of the places I have lived before! It’s the perfect place to be quarantined in during covid. My unit feels like home. The views are great on the river and for the city view. Also, having a balcony is a plus too! I don’t see myself wanting to move for a very long time.

My girlfriend and I have been living in Domus for a little over 6 months now and really enjoy the living situation. The price point is higher, but in my opinion worth it for the following reasons: 1) Staff - The staff is extremely friendly and are always on top of communication. 2) Amenities - The amenities are extremely nice and they have been on top of cleaning more frequently during COVID which has been great. 3) Location - You have access to bars, restaurants, and the public market in the 3rd ward. The apartment is right on the riverwalk which is one of my favorite things Milwaukee has to offer. You have access to two nice parks within a 5 minute walk. Within 15 minute walk you are looking out at Lake Michigan. If you do have to drive it's very easy to hop on the highway and get to anywhere around town. 4) Apartment Space - We live in one of the 700sq ft units (1E is the floorplan I believe) and since COVID we have both been working from home. It has been an interesting situation at times, but we make it work and I still feel like our apartment is not that cramped. The kitchen has a lot of space and storage which has been great as we enjoy to cook. Overall - I highly recommend this apartment complex!

Have been living here for about 5 months and love it. Such a great location and the river views are amazing. Close to so many great things like the lake, the public market and the restaurants nearby are awesome. The staff are super friendly and the building has great features.

DoMUS is a wonderful place to live. It is in the ideal spot with a great boardwalk on the riverside and amazing communal amenities. The apartments are new, clean and comfortable. Lived in a one bedroom riverside apartment in DoMus for two years and I truly have nothing but great things to say about it. The location is incredible and safe, right across from the best restaurant in Milwaukee (DanDan) and a couple blocks away from the cutest coffee shop (Kickapoo). The balcony and view are an awesome amenity. The facility is modern and gorgeous. Everything about living here was convenient - easy mail room, great common spaces and updated design. Love love loved living here and highly recommend to anyone!!!
We have lived in the Domus building since July 2019. We absolutely love it here. The building is very modern with plush finishes in the hallways and inside the apartments. In fact, we loved their furnishings so much (they come from Peabody furnishings which is a WI company ..yaay for shopping local) we bought a nice couch from the same furniture company. We live in a 2 bedroom and have the city view which is phenomenol. We can see the skyline very well from the guest and master bedrooms and of course the living room. Amenities- 1. The lobby room downstairs has a kickass sound system with outdoor speakers as well. We have had 4 parties of a grand scale in this room in the last 10 months. A couple of them were catered events with guests upto 100 that comfortably fit. There is a minimal fee to reserve the room. There is an oven, large screen TV, dishes, silverware, small fridge and a dishwasher. We have also used this room for having a nice meal with friends. If no one is using the room, one can use it for free but for larger parties a reservation is better. If you like to entertain this is a big draw. 2. The gym from Vita physical therapy next door is included and works very well for us 3. The mail boxes and well organized and they will store perishables (like flowers, cake deliveries and blue apron) in a large fridge in the mail room. 4. The parking is underground, heated and safe. Spots are spacious, have individual bike racks and ample space to park bikes on a separate common area as well. 5. Outdoor grill and seating is excellent to enjoy in summer, spring and fall. We had a halloween bash that had 100 guests and we used the outdoor space quite well. It flanks the riverwalk and the river which offers a great vibe. 6. Coffee machine in the lobby room- free coffee, lattes, cappuchinos and teas, hot chocolate are available and are promptly refilled. No need to go to a library or coffee shop. This lobby room is way better and offers a lot more silence and one could enjoy music or TV if so desired Views: Every apt has either city or river view. Both are amazing. and the elevator waiting area in each floor has a great river view with a couple of nice cozy chairs and table to have a cup of coffee in silence if one choses. Bottomline: I have never lived in a better building in MKE and i have lived in the third ward area in various apartments for 9 years. It is an excellent place to call home.

I’ve lived here for about 1 year and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The front office staff are always helpful, friendly, prompt w services and responses, and make an effort to make the residents’ lives easier. It is a gorgeous building with high end finishes. River units have an amazing view. Great location in the third ward and easy for commuters to get onto the interstate.
