Property Ratings at Domaine at Villebois
We've been residents of Domaine at Villebois for several years now, having witnessed the property's sale to multiple property management companies. The good - location is beautiful if you love nature, with horses, farms, and Graham Oak's park nearby. The commute to and from Wilsonville can be a drag, so you'll want to go into it knowing that. The apartment complex is managed very inconsistently. We've had a now long-running noise complaint which has not been remedied yet. The manager hasn't even offered to speak with us. We're always told "it's being worked on" and "these things take time" and that noise is "part of apartment living" (an insulting comment to people who've lived in apartments for years and know what's "normal" noise and what's irritating. At least twice a year we get notices that either our apartment is being inspected or that maintenance is occurring, and about half the time it never happens and there's no further communications. The office staff was cut in half when M.G. Properties took over and there's literally a line of residents and potential residents waiting for one staffer's time all day. The apartments are OK. The appliances are generally super cheap. The pool, if you're wanting to use it, is operable about 50% of the time. Finally, last year everyone was "opted in" to some extra monthly service fee in their lease renewal. Thanks for that.

Called multiple times, no one from the leasing office ever answers at any point during the day. Submitted for a tour, we never received confirmation if we could tour or not. We just did an application thinking ok we'll ask questions when they reach out. No one EVER reached out. Went in person because we didn't hear back, was told "oh, yes we received your application, but our internet has been down all day". Ok, I understand, the gentleman told me a day or two if they need more from me, I'll wait for contact about my application. The days passed and nothing. I called left messages and nothing. I finally wrote a 1 star review and they next day I get a call from someone at a sister property who "can help". By this point I was done, not even someone from the actual property had contacted us, we just canceled. They won't do a refund because my application was "screened" if that was true I would have received a response in a decent amount of time.

This place has it all. Great staff, awesome pool, a loaded gym, cleanest property on Earth, pet friendly, beautiful views, day care, a stocked convenience store, a gorgeous fountain centered in the park, a coffee stand that’s the bomb. Everything but a golf course folks. The leasing team (Kaitlin & Erin) will make your move such a welcoming and fun one.

A safe and very well maintained apartment building. Parks, trails, and pool are within walking distance. Management keeps us informed about cleaning schedules, special events being offered, and responds quickly to any concerns. Our unit has excellent quality carpets and fixtures. Our family feels "at home" in our apartment.
Domain at Villebois is a great apartment complex with wonderful amenities and great staff. The maintenance staff is phenomenal. They are quick to fix any problems and do a great job at fixing the problem too. The community is wonderful and nice and quite. The apartment itself is roomy and the kitchen is nice and big. Overall it is a great experience and we love it!
Domaine @ Villebois sits on the grounds of the former Dammasch Hospital, in Wilsonville, Oregon. Dammasch Hospital, was, at one time, the Oregon State Hospital. During the three and a half year period I have resided at Domaine @ Villebois, I have heard countless stories and legends pertaining to Dammasch. There is a gorgeous piazza, across the street, which my apartment overlooks. Some say and speculate there may be apparitions roaming the halls and grounds of the complex. There have been occasions, where I have felt the presence of the apparitions. There is security and everyone living in the complex is so friendly...neighborly. The complex has a wonderful maintenance team and the leasing agents are incredible.
These apartments are nice, well made, good amenities, the office staff is stellar, the building maintenance is very good. My only complaint is that the refrigerator and dishwasher are on the small side, the bathroom storage is really not functional and the rent is a pricy. However, it is one of the better apartments I have lived in.
If you're looking for a quiet, extremely safe spot to live in the 'burbs, this is your spot. I have gone running on hot summer days at 10pm around the neighborhood with no worries (and I am a small white female). Walking distance to the Thrusday farmers markets and the lovely graham oaks park, this is suburbia at it's finest.
Domaine at Villebois is in a great location with super access to parks, sidewalks and trails for walking, biking or jogging. The community is clean and pet friendly. It is very close to freeway access, shops, restaurants and a movie theater. The office staff members are very helpful and friendly.
I've lived here since January 2008, shortly after it first opened to residents. The apartments are nicely laid out, with upgraded appliances. My one-bedroom place is spacious, with a very large bathroom and a walk-in closet. Maintenance is good, with fast turn-around when requests are submitted. The office staff is friendly and efficient, sometimes going out of their way to make sure all is well. I like being here as it is quiet for the most part; yet, it "hosts" amenities suitable for all age ranges. And that makes it a neighborhood too.
