After relocating from the Midwest to Palm Springs without seeing Desert Flower in person we are pleased with what we moved into. From the convenience of location, the secure community, the manicured grounds, the light/airy apartment and the friendly and attentive staff, we feel comfortable that we made a good decision with Desert Flower.

The Apartment homes are GREAT! Wonderful features and the space layout is wonderful. It is like living in a regular home.

In my 23 years of living in Desert Flower community, I have found it perfect for my needs. I cannot imagine moving to any other location.

The people in the office are exceptional &very helpful & respond well The grounds are well kept. Also they vet the tenants so there are no noisy people and no smoking in the units.

I toured this community last year and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, they had no units available at the time and had to move in to another complex. This year, I was thrilled that a unit was available and I was able to move in. The community is spotless, the pools are crystal clear, the gardens and trees are kept beautifully, and the car ports are in amazing shape. This is the best management Ive ever experienced, they answer very quickly to any requests submitted. The neighbors are great and very quiet, which makes it very peaceful. Ive only lived here for a month and a half but I wouldnt trade it for any other complex. Ruby and Chai in the office are extremely friendly and attentive, they even call to check in on you and make sure your needs have been met. Amazing community. Im looking forward to living here.

Desert Flower is a nice apartment complex and I have had no problems here. The rent is a reasonable price for such a nice area and the apartment is big and fits all my needs.

Not satisfied with raising rents especially during COVID-19. Mainly maintenance issues as the apartment ages. I have been here for six years. Maintenance man can be very lazy with repairs. Took about 6 or more months to get a remote for the gate. After several requests for a remote. Gate has issues often. Dont care for the lease month options. I shouldnt get a discounted rate for having to stay longer Im a lease. Prices should be the same for any month lease. Seriously have thought of moving many many times.

Staff is super friendly and very accommodating during this crazy time. Ruby is always sweet and definitely always in a great mood. The grounds are maintained which is amazing because you can tell people love to live here. My family has lived here for 5 months and honestly have nothing but great things to say.

If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet setting to live in with neighbors who have been vetted this is the place. D F is also in walking distance to shopping.

I lived at Desert Flower on 2 separate occasions. The first was for 4 years. The second time a little over 2 years. I moved back because of the quality of life. I felt safe and secure. I never witnessed any problems on the property. The Manager Ruby is amazing! She addresses any issues or needs immediately. Ruby is always looking for ways to improve the quality of life there as well. She was always available. If I hadn’t purchased a home I’d still be living there. My 2 bedroom was spacious and wonderful. I truly miss living there. The rent is a little on the high side but definitely worth it! You won’t be sorry.- Edward M.

We love our apartment at the Desert Flower. The office staff and maintenance staff are friendly, and they provide excellent service. Our unit feels like a new home, with all the upgrades. We hope to live here for a very long time.

Unfortunately it has been infested with roaches since the first day we moved in. No matter how much they fumigate, it does little impact. I have NEVER lived in any house or apartment with this severe of an infestation. The staff is dismissive, combative & argumentive. They want to intimidate you for voicing valid concerns as a paying tenant, so as to prevent you from “bothering” them. We can’t leave the sliding glass door open for five minutes, without the entire room filling up with nicotine or marijuana smoke (I wish I were exagerating but I am not) at all times of day and night. The people up top don’t work & make lots of noise at all hours of the night. Staff does nothing even though lease stipulates that they will take action. The criminal staff here could care less and I wish someone had warned me prior to signing my lease, I cannot get out of here fast enough and am counting down the days! James the maintenance guy is very helpful but the other hispanic guy doesn’t have a clue & a lot of these people are frauds, they are working a job they were never trained for. The new manger is hostile and totally unqualified. You will see a whole different side of them AFTER you have signed the lease....

The desert flower apartments are nice but not fancy. And some things aren't up to date. Neighbors are nice. The only problem is their is a lot theft going on around the complex. Which I don't like and its making me move after the lease is up most likely.

If you want a high-quality care-free renting experience look no further. The Desert Flower Apartments in Palm Springs, California are a true gem of the desert. The apartments are spacious, and include patios/balconies off of both the living room and both bedrooms. They also include an individual washer/dryer in every unit. The layout is open and the decorating up to date, clean, and inviting. Many tenants are long-term residents, and the management is diligent in maintaining a high quality standard for residency. We rarely if ever experience loud noise or tenant disruptions; but the staff always acts immediately on those rare occasions when they do occur. The complex itself is located in a golf club/residential are and has numerous greenbelt trails surrounding it. Desert Flower is located within walking distance of grocery stores, Walgreens, True Value Hardware and the US Post Office. Several restaurants and a variety of shopping (including Petco) and entertainment are also within easy walking distance. Pets are welcome at Desert Flower, and tenants are courteous regarding pet behavior and waste pick-up. The complex itself is a garden-like setting where it is a delight to walk your pet. The grounds and three pools are consistently well-maintained, and the plantings are varietal and mature. Preventative maintenance such as filter changes, air conditioner maintenance, pest control, and smoke alarm testing is performed regularly, and always with at least three days notice. Our best feature is our staff. The complex has two full-time maintenance professionals who are efficient, hard-working and faultlessly courteous. The management typically responds to most maintenance requests the very same day or in some cases the day following. They go above and beyond normal performance, especially in those cases where emergency situations occur. When the city experienced a water main break, every unit was notified within an hour by both email and phone. Updates were made every 1-2 hours, and the staff brought in and distributed bottled water for our residents. Another example is the occasional violent wind storms we have here in the desert. Our complex is always the first in the area to be cleaned up after these storms, usually by the following day. I have been a resident for 5 years, and couldn't imagine a better place to live!
