The only thing I noticed was people do not clean up after their dogs and the trash on weekends gets full but overall I enjoyed the new place the kids are happy

The apartment itself is great but upkeep in the community is pretty bad. A light pole fell months ago by building 16 and is just been left there with wires exposed. It's been months.

The first 2 years at Deerwood were good, but it became not so good when the complex changed management company's 3 times. Now I would not recommend any of my friends to come here.

Do not rent or live in these apartments unless you have unlimited funds to cover their fees and don’t care about living in an ugly community!

Not a good experience to live here it's always dirty around the complex, gates are broken down constantly and not fixed fast like the one in front right by the leasing office it's sad !!!

So expensive, they make them seem like luxury apartments but when I moved in appliances were no good flooring was lifting paint was chipping off the bathtub the balcony had a broken wood also had to even get a maintenance request done because they quote on quote have “emergency problems first” and to top it of they never showed and I still have the same problems they just marked them as complete

They will completely ignore you unless they want more money from you and will block your number if you ever try to call the office about maintenance issues. Also had the maintenance crew try to enter my apartment several times while they weren’t asked too too the point where I had to get a security camera and they made every women in my apartment feel incredibly uncomfortable DONT MOVE HERE

I’ve been having issues for eight months because my neighbor behind me smokes and management does nothing about it. I’m not renewing my lease because I can’t stand the smell anymore and I have kids. It seems they don’t take my health serious or my kids. The management here doesn’t do anything once you move in. It’s super over priced for what you get. The maintenance seems awesome but management of failure. I should’ve took the reviews more serious before I moved in because they’re all true. Don’t move here because they don’t care once you’re here I regret moving here after the first three months. Deerwood just needs better management that’s qualified and not lazy. There’s a lot of drugs going through this complex late at night. I don’t know why security doesn’t get more on it.

Deerwood so far is a great place to live. From moving in and all the support I had with Letty everything was perfect! The community is safe, lots to do in the area and the apartments are super modern and beautiful.

I have lived in Deerwood Apartments with my family for the last 6 years- since December 2016. I just moved out after buying my own house. The place is safe, clean and has friendly staff. The custodians, especially Mike are very responsive and thorough when called upon for maintenance. The proximity to the McKinley Market center makes shopping easier and convenient. Highly recommended!

The nicest thing I will say is I appreciate the maintenance team and enjoy my apartment and neighbors, the management team has shown nothing but disrespect and that they do not have the ability to actively listen or embrace the tenants.

We put in a request for our patio to be cleaned and repainted because the upstairs neighbors dog urinated on the patio multiple times. The patio reeks of urine and has started to eat the paint and rot the wood. We were told that they would be able to do it after I called them but it has been over 30 days and nothing has been done. No one has even contacted us. The patio continues to get worse and is a safety hazard and unsanitary.

Deerwood has overpriced units the quality does not match the price especially for a renovated unit. I've had nothing but problems when i moved in. Maintenance does not fix anything for months and when they do it breaks down again. The owner needs to do better. These buildings are getting so much money off move in cost and rent they should provide better service

We stayed here from 2019-2021. Bathtubs peeled 3 times. Every time after having maintenance coming to repaint. They'll blame you for that bye when you move out and charge you. And you won't get your $500 deposit plus you have to pay $1000 for little wear and tear. Giant roaches! Loud inconsiderate neighbors loud at night right next to your window so say goodbye to a good night sleep. Dogs barking for no reason at 3 am or you might get some action with people fighting outside. Loud cars with ugly blown out stereos driving thru the parking lot. Or just parked and blasting music. No parking if you get out of work late. Car got broken into windows smashed and all. Called the office and the guy had a little laugh about it. They really need to invest in cameras! & REAL security.

Management tries their best but the complex itself is terrible. Horrible and inconsiderate neighbors, constant broken gates, no parking unless you have a spot but if you have more then one car you're SOL, and the amount of abandoned cars in available spots is outstanding. Not to mention lack of cameras with several car break ins. I honestly don't recommend this complex to anyone looking for a new place to live.

this complex lacks proffesional management they dont address issue on a timely manner it needs to replace "ALL ONSITE PERSONNEL" from top to bottom with people who really care about doing a great job not just getting a paycheck !!!!!!

Great area has change a lot since we move in. But the god thing is closed to the freeway and stores schools are great. Maintenance has improve a lot but theirs room for improvement.

This place is horrible. The back gate had been broken since we moved in. Till this day we haven’t seen no security both front gates still broken wide open so that random people can come in. Maintenance sucks they never answer our requests the only thing they come and do is the air filter seems like all they like to do is the easy work. I don’t recommend this places.

As a residence for over 2 years now many issue have arise , the biggest one back Security gate broken wide open for over 2 years now , that's been the biggest problem for me , but the management people here don't care !!!!

A quiet apartment complex in a great location with large bedrooms and closet space. Maintenance takes a long time and the gates don't work but other than that I'm happy.

Would not recommend staying here. Staff are not helpful
Management does not help with your needs I have gone to the front office to let they know about certain things and they don't unlock the door and they ignore you , Management needs to change everyone is so rude , and they don't even fix the problems around here , my refrigerator went bad and they replaced it with a "Smaller &"Cheaper" one that's not right !! They don't care about the residents !!!!!!!!!!!!
Deerwood does not care about you, only collecting rent. Luxury, a joke
Deerwood is not the right choice with this management team, not a pleasant experience.
Unfortunately since day one I've had problems with Deerwood. POOR customer service from office staff. They never call you back. Work orders take DAYS to get done. Gates are always broke. SOOO many people parking with no pass. Homeless people coming in to ransack the dumpsters (which should be emptied more often)
