Property Ratings at Cypress River
Our water has gotten cold and we tried to get in touch with maintenance, they called back and we missed the call so we called back twice at different times and still no answer. There’s roaches that infest the apartments, so we had to keep boric acid down since we moved in and keep the ac on. The neighbors are always stomping and making loud noise upstairs too.
This complex has a really bad pest problem!! Also the staff never can seem to answer the phone. Any issues I had I had to go a person and then follow back up myself because no one will reach out. Upon move in my apartment was not ready alot of things got didn’t get done such as cleaning until the day after my set move in day. Apartments need to really be torn down and rebuilt I’ve had an insane pest problem since I moved in.

I CANNOT recommend this apartment complex. The property manager displayed extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism when I reported a malfunctioning washer. Despite informing maintenance and providing video evidence of the issue, their attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. The property manager, rather insultingly, suggested we didn't know how to use a washer, and though he promised a follow-up inspection, no one showed up. Subsequent email follow-ups were ignored, showcasing neglect and extreme unprofessionalism. Several months passed with the washer not working properly, causing significant inconvenience. Despite the contractual agreement to provide working appliances, there was no initiative to provide a credit for the washer or a replacement. This apartment complex lacks proper management in assisting tenants and ensuring basic necessities are addressed, making it a highly UNSATISFACTORY living situation.

This place is horrible to live. No maintenance, no pest control even though you are required to pay for it, pay for trash service that's done half the time, nickel and dine you for a lot, not pet friendly, weak sub floors, which means loud neighbors. Poorly managed property and poorly maintained by maintenance.

we had black mold all throughout our apartment while living here with a newborn baby. Our child has had complications from this. The property is poorly maintained. Everything from our HVAC to washer and dryer and kitchen sink broke. The management team can only do so much because corporate has the final say and they do not care about the tenants wellbeing. This place is NOT WORTH the trouble.

We LOVE living here at Cypress! The new management company came in and really took charge of things and we have seen so many improvements over the past year. The managers on site are always available and so helpful as well as the rest of the staff. The maintenance team has also won us over! Clay is fantastic and really knowledgeable! We will continue making Cypress our home!

The office staff and the manager are hard to get in touch with via phone call and email. They do not offer assistance you have to demand it. The manager has refused to have maintenance fill out a report detailing we do not have pets nor any signs of pet odor in the apartment. There are always additional fees and charges. You are treated like a number instead of a person. There are plenty more issues. I do not recommend moving here. Don’t let the design and appearance fool you.
