Ventura’s vibe brings easygoing coastal charm wrapped around historic flair and sunny streets. Renters can expect a mix of green havens like 800 acres of parks, beaches, community gardens, a golf course and the Ventura Aquatic Center maintained by the city’s Parks & Recreation team. Another gem—the Ventura Botanical Gardens—spans about 107 acres and showcases plants from around the globe on slopes behind City Hall. Downtown bursts with lively landmarks including Mission San Buenaventura from 1782, Plaza Park with its massive Moreton Bay fig planted in 1874, the elegant Ventura Theatre built in 1928, and the historic City Hall (originally courthouse) sitting atop a hill with sweeping views. Add in the iconic Ventura Pier, California’s oldest wooden pier (built in 1872), which now serves as a scenic walkway with restaurants and beach access .

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Cypress Point
The staff is so nice and always helpful when I need something. They also host fun gatherings for us to get together and meet our neighbors. The apartments are a bit older inside but are super spacious with woodlike flooring. Overall, I love my apartment !

It's wonderful to hear that you're enjoying your experience with us, especially the friendly atmosphere and community events. We appreciate your kind words about our team and the spaciousness of your home. We hope you continue to have a pleasant experience! Sincerely, The Cypress Meadows Management Team
Worse management you can ever be in , buildings are cover on mold , nothing is replace or upgraded, water heater always have issues, everything is rusted and old , maintenance team is not even certified .
My husband and I will not be living here for much longer. Rent is too high, buildings are falling apart. Staff are incredibly rude, especially the general manager. Snarky and entitled. Property is filled with cigarette smoke and car noise. Walls are paper thin. Windows look straight into other people's windows. Management will tow your car if you go on vacation for 3 days, because they do not keep track of who lives in the complex. Night security is never to be found, despite reports of break-ins and assaults. Night security will also approach you while you are in the pool to ask you to get out and show proof of residency. Overall, there are many other great places to live in Ventura for cheaper. Worst place we have ever lived. Do not live at Cypress Point Lane Apartments.

My fiance and I have lived at Cypress Point for just over two years and would absolutely recommend. When we first moved to Ventura, we had a tough time warming up to the idea of living in such a big apartment complex. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the apartments, the open/spacious floor plans, and the helpfulness of the staff. The amenities are awesome! We love the jacuzzi/pool area, it really feels like a little resort. The location is great-super close to lots of great restaurants and an easy commute to downtown via the 126. The neighbors we've had have been amazing...we both feel like we moved to an awesome little village. It's quiet, well-maintained, and we are super grateful to have found it. The management team is very responsive and take great care of the tenants. They do whatever they can to help support the members of the community-even holding cute little events for Halloween and Tenant Appreciate Week. It's expensive to rent in Ventura, but we felt the prices were reasonable for the floor plans and amenities offered. Don't miss out on an opportunity to live here!!!
Management was careless and didn’t help with needed ammeneties. Jacuzzi was cold. Street traffic is loud. All in all save your money and live somewhere else!
I love my apartment! The location is fantastic!! Everything is nearby from grocery stores to gas stations. Even the freeways are close. It is a fairly quiet area. The managent is friendly and helpful. My apartment is a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a balcony. It is very spacious and comes with a refrigerator, dishwasher and washer/dryer hookups. The complex has a clubhouse with pool tables upstairs, a pool and 2 jacuzzis, and a fittness center. There is also place to wash your car on the backside of the clubhouse.
I have lived here for over 6 years. In that time the quality of the neighborhood as well as the general service and customer service has declined significantly while the rent has gone up by almost half. The buildings look nice. The grounds are decently maintained. There is no A/C. Only heating. The Management has changed 4 times in 6 years. Looking forward to my lease ending. Over all 2 stars, when I moved in it was a full 5.
