Westside Santa Cruz is a thriving commercial district home to some of the best shops, restaurants, and business right outside of the Bay Area. The southern tip of the neighborhood sits closest to the shore and consists of a wide range of apartment styles. Head to Swift Street to find trendy restaurants, shops, and breweries in and around the Swift Street Courtyard, or travel along Mission Street for more great shopping and dining opportunities. Front Street, located right outside of the neighborhood west of Swift Street, has countless stores and eateries like the Cooperhouse Shopping Center and San Lorenzo Park Plaza Shopping Center.

Cypress point may be a bit expensive for a college student but if you are able to afford it cypress is a peaceful apartment complex.

In the both times I made a service request at Cypress Point, my request has been met in a timely manner.
It's a pretty campus of small apartment buildings in a beautiful part of the world, near the beach and a small lagoon with ducks and other wildlife. The on-site management is excellent and quickly responsive to tenant issues (repairs, etc). It's a bit pricey, but I'd recommend to those who can afford it.
So far, I am super stoked about living at Cypress Point! I love the floor plan, and the grounds are so beautiful/well-maintained. I really appreciate the access to amenities and parking here, too.
Love that animals are allowed and it really feels like a peaceful community here. The neighbors haven't been bothersome and people keep to themselves, which is nice. The nature gives the place a refreshing, new, feeling. Water/sewage and trash bills are taken care of. Lots of parking, room for trash/recycling, and laundry sites nearby and simple to use. Management is always on top of any issues that occur. Very positive experience at Cypress Point and the leasing process was guided really professionally and smoothly.
I loved my apartment at cypress point—location, view, peaceful nature. My apartment was quite outdated, though it met my needs. The 1 bedroom was a good size and there was tons of storage. I didn’t appreciate management’s lack of communication and poor customer service. Requests often needed to be followed up on 3-4x before receiving an adequate response/solution. Not much consideration went into the resident experience during upgrades and scheduled maintenance—often times providing short notice and minimal accommodations for major nuisances.
Apartment complex is pet friendly and laundry rooms use an app that makes laundry easy and accessible without coins.
Staff is very friendly. Nice, clean and well maintained apartments. Love the pong table.
I have truly loved my experience at cypress. I was hesitant at first regarding the reviews online but trusted my gut and moved in. Best decision Ive made and I truly love it here. Im living with 3 other roommates in a 2 bed one bath and we have plenty of space. Were staying in a newly renovated apartment which makes it even better! The management here is awesome as well. I highly recommend cypress.
We are very satisfied overall with Cypress Point and would gladly recommend this community to our friends and family. The team was very helpful and made our move easy.

Rental process, although most of it was online, was made extremely easy to follow. Staff called along the way to ensure completion of documents. Staff at leasing office was extremely helpful and patient with arising issues.
Great landscaping and places to walk around the property. The pool and gym areas are clean and new. The laundry facilities are affordable. The units are renovated decently. Parking is an issue with only one spot per unit and guest parking is scarce.
This is a great location, and is family friendly and safe and it is surprisingly quiet, and well laid out, and the grounds are pretty, and well maintained.

Cypress Point Apartments is located on a quiet cul-de-sac not far from the beach and Neary Lagoon. It is a peaceful complex with attractive and well-maintained apartments. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is within a few minutes of a couple of dog parks, of downtown, of grocery stores, restaurants, and CVS.
Great place to live.
