Property Ratings at Crown Chase
Don't do it, DO NOT LIVE HERE. When we moved into Crown Chase about 2 years ago and we were so excited. It looked like it was a comfortable environment with great landscaping and friendly neighbors but over the past 6 months, it has gone down hill fast. We have had multiple break in to cars and things stolen from apartments. That isn't usually the apartments fault BUT the walking and driving gates are ALWAYS broken and left open. Most recently the back gate was seriously damaged, it took nearly 2 months for ANY repairs to be done and it is still not complete. Non residents have been crawling under the fence to get in and roam the grounds, 10+ cats roam the grounds, packages get stolen and the staff generally act like they do not care. On top of that, there is trash left out and dog poop everywhere. Our apartment had terrible mold that we tried to prevent with air filters but it grew on our walls. We also had spiders ALL THE TIME. They would say they are sending out pest control to our apartments and then never show. We have tried issuing complaints and they are dismissed. They have now told us upon move out that we owe fees that were never communicated to us upon move in. Also, all the water is communally paid. So you are splitting the bill with the entire building. Be prepared for ridiculous water bills $80+ a month. We recently moved to a different complex and our electricity bill and water bill are less than what we were paying monthly for water alone for the SAME SIZE APARTMENT.
I lived in this apartment for 4 months with a relative of mine. I have two littles ones that couldn’t sleep in the apartment the first 3 nights because they wouldn’t fix the running toilet that kept going off every 3 minutes. The parking is horrendous here, worse than any other apartment complex I’ve lived in. Be prepared to hike, ladies and gents. Then as I have left, they want me to notarize their paperwork saying I no longer live there. I’m states away now. They take no consideration for you. Keep all this in mind and honestly just pick somewhere else.
I gave a 1, but they deserve a 0. Roach infested and did not work with us in a timely manner to fix the problem. Our family was forced to move out an break through lease and they threatened to send us to collections also forcing to pay money there were not owed. I have documentation that their pest service is not credible And did not do their job taking care of the issue to begin with. Crown Chase chose to believe the pest control company and not the people living in their complex. My kids are now deathly afraid of bugs because of this.
I've lived at Crown Chase for about two years now. The few problems I've had have been fixed in a timely matter and taken care of by such a courteous staff. The pool is an amazing spot to hang out by during the summer and the landscaping is simply beautiful. I can see myself living here for many years to come.
