Property Ratings at Cross Timber
I love it here I have lived here for 2 year's now and ever since new management has taken over it's fantastic. It's quiet and clean and I look forward to another lease.
They make everything seem great with pictures , but it's disgusting. Property manager is awfully rude if she doesnt like you. They gave someone out house key to do maintenance that wasnt for us. They walk in your house, pool is always gross slimy and full of algae. It's not salt water btw. Smoke alarms have always been sensitive and go off at odd hours. Hot water doesnt last a shower. My kids were playing and we went in to grab something and the property manager came out took all their toys and broke their sticks and yelled at me. Told me to behave cause I had kids. The security gate rarely works, and valet trash is a joke. If they dont pickup and your trash is left outside , you'll get fined. Not worth the stress . STAY AWAY. we moved from california and were to move in on the 10th. They weren't ready for us and said they had us coming on the 18th , first lie. Then had us squat in an empty apartment for 2 weeks. Then tried to put carpet in the apartment when we were paying for wood. Then the place was F I L T H Y . there were cob webs and old bandaids and dust everywhere. This was the height of the pandemic. No one wore masks. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Stay away.
I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to anyone!!! They have changed managements like 5-6 since I lived there. They can’t keep accounting straight and always mess your stuff. I lived there 14 months and not once did I ever pay what my rent was supposed to be. They would add credit and mess everything up. When I left, I requested a walk through and they gave me a list of stuff to take care of. Well, I did it and now they are trying to charge me for stuff I took care of. They seriously don’t know what they are doing. Avoid the headache and the scam of getting screwed!!! Crappy management!!!!
For me, the location is great as I work on MMAC. I'm not into valet trash, I like to grill, I enjoy the garage, sometimes I'll swim, and there's plenty of room in the apartments. The HVAC system works just great and I have never had any issues parking.
The office manager is always super nice and friendly when it comes to any issues ive had.
I wanted my first apartment experience to be a great experience and Crosstimber has never let me down! Very kind friendly staff always willing to help and hear your concerns. Complex is quiet, safe, and clean. The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance. Maintenance has always come in a reasonable and timely manner. If you're not quite ready for a house yet and want a great place to call home, call Crosstimber!
The office people are not only rude but very unprofessional. They never pick up their phones (its never busy there this is a new property) the maintenance guys yell at the kids for playing outside and no one ever picks up the trash on the correct date. They will send you threatening letters if you are one day late and claims to be in office on holidays. No one is there on holidays or sundays there is a sign that says so and they will argue that they were there. They will lie about everything there and if anything goes wrong they will treat you like you were the one that is wrong. They will speak to you like you are an 8 yr old kid and will not help you in any way. If I had known this I would have never signed a lease. I am now stuck with these folks and I want out!

We are sorry that you didn't have a stellar experience while living at Cross Timber Apartments; I do want you to know that since your time here, we have undergone multiple changes. Ownership, we have changed ownership - Management, we have changed the entire office/ management team - Maintenance, we have changed our maintenance team. We have also renovated the community! We have changed the paint pallet, the counter-tops are Quartz in most of our apartments while leaving some with the Formica in order to have multiple choices to best fit your budget. We have added many colorful trees and flowers throughout. So many changes, so many options!! We strive for our residents to have an enjoyable experience. Please stop in to tour again; we understand that you may have secured housing but we want to prove to you that our new staff and management team are here to meet your needs.
