Situated along San Pablo Bay north of San Rafael, Novato is a stunning city with fantastic views of the bay and the mountains. It is directly east of Point Reyes National Seashore, a spectacular park covering more than 71,000 acres on the Point Reyes Peninsula. This is the place to go for whale-watching, visiting the Point Reyes Lighthouse, and hiking (see the views from Arch Rock or walk the 308 steps to the lighthouse).
Being part of the San Francisco Bay area, Novato feels country cool with an urban edge. It is home to some major companies, such as BioMarin Pharmaceutical and SPG Solar, and it offers fantastic shops and restaurants in its historic and trendy downtown, wrapped around Grant Avenue. Must-visits include the Novato History Museum, the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, the San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge, and Olompali State Historic Park.

Wow- certainly have been enjoying my new home at Crooked Oaks. Helen was instrumental in making my move-in flawless. She was extremely efficient and made the whole experience 5 star plus, she went above n beyond for me. Once I settled in I have been impressed with the immaculate care of the property (Luis you ROCK), the community, as well as the amenities have been superb. I love it HERE! Call Helen she will make your stressful moving situation a breeze! Best place to live in Novato!
These apartments are really nice and reasonable prices. Air Conditioned, they allow pets. My place was totally remodeled. Erin was wonderful, she actually got in and was doing some reconditioning herself, who could ask for anything else. Thanks Erin and staff. I'm really picky as this is a 2nd residence for me and my primary is a fairly new home, these places really stack up. If I can "strongly Recommend"....Then i do.
Crooked Oak Apartments are such an amazing place to live. All the units are fully upgraded with appliances, washer/dryer in unit, and a garage. It’s hard to beat these amenities in Marin county! But what really makes this place shine is the management team. Erin, the property supervisor, always makes herself readily available to tenants to help everything run smoothly. We recently had double pane windows installed in our unit and Erin made herself available to be in the unit during the install since I couldn’t be there due to work. I appreciate that she always goes the extra mile for her tenants and really makes this place special! Holly in the office as well is always so warm and welcoming and is ready to help when needed as well! They both really helped solidify our decision to extend our lease!

Crooked Oaks Apartments are situated next to a preserve, this means a hiking trail that starts in your backyard, deer and wild turkeys under your balcony and hundreds of twittering birds. You can still see the stars at night and it is very quiet. The apartment itself is fully upgraded with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, crown molding etc. Management is great, they are communicative and the gentleman in charge of maintenance is on the ball, extremely helpful and friendly. There are a few things that completely sold me on this place: 1) It is pet friendly and there are many pet lovers who live here. 2) It has a washer/dryer in the unit; no more need for rolls or quarters and waiting to do your laundry. Overall, a great place to live!
