Property Ratings at Crescent Park Commons
This place was built in 2009. The older units have not had any upgrades the rent keeps going up, for what? Nothing offered when the lease is renewed $50 off or even a free carpet cleaning. They have added newer units but have not done anything to the older ones. The property isn’t well kept.
Lived here one year 2021-2022 in the older section. I like that the location is very close to stores and restaurants on Wade Hampton. The grounds and pool are very nice with gas grills and dog parks, even a dog wash station and a car wash station. Had issue with the apartment being dirty upon move in and never heard a thing from management. There was so much dust and lint never vacuumed, dust build up on door frames and there was a wasp nest left out on the patio. They apparently do not clean the patios between renters. There was a layer of grime at the bottom of the dishwasher. The apartment always smelled a bit off. A/C went out several times, they really needed to start replacing these instead of continually fixing them. They also never clean the outside of buildings. When I moved in there were leaves and spiderwebs all in the entry area, spider webs and dirt all along the stairways. I would expect the apartment mgmt to check out the properties before new people move in and not leave it so disgusting, I would have been embarrassed if I let a new person walk in to that. I mentioned the outer building dirt to the office and they said they would be cleaning the outer buildings soon. The whole year I was there it was never done. The trash compactor was constantly broken.
Pool is constantly closed, gym is pathetic, customer service is non existent. It takes days to get the office to answer a phone call or email. The courtesy officer does not respond to any complaints. Inspections without full 24 hour notices, multiple inspections within a 2 week period as well. Parking continues to be an issue that goes unaddressed, not enough spaces for residents. Bugs everywhere as well, I have never seen pest control spray ever.

We do apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our pool and amenities. Furthermore, we would love to address the concerns mentioned with you directly so that we can best assist. At your convenience, please contact our office so that we may quickly resolve any concerns. Thank you.
I didn't even get in the door because the leasing office is so disorganized. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for some technical issues at first, but I shouldn't have had to beg to get my paperwork in order to get everything set up before I drive across the country to move in. I was told that a family member could pick up my keys for me before moving day but only if I did X, Y and Z items and paid the necessary rent/fees but I couldn't get that done because they weren't communicating with me! It was really frustrating that I would call and email the office and not get any sort of reply back at all. I ended up cancelling my application and I got a call on the day of my prospective move in asking what time I was going to show up that day and they didn't even seem to care or question why there was a change in my plans. I only talked to my leasing contact once between seeing the apartment and cancelling my application otherwise it was just a random person who didn't know how to complete the task I needed assistance with. Terrible customer service if you are planning to move here from out of state and the complex wasn't worth the stress in the long run.

Thank you for taking the time to submit the review. First, I am extremely sorry that your experience was not a good one. While undergoing new construction our office has been extremely busy. We have had employees from other properties come to help us manage a large number of calls and tours but clearly, we dropped the ball and didn't provide you with the customer service we are accustomed to giving. I understand the damage is done but I am hopeful that you will be willing to speak with me so I can personally apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I look forward to hearing from you.
New management is above and beyond amazing! Literally the only complaint is parking sucks really bad.

Thank you so much for your review! We are glad you are enjoying it here!
We have lived here since 2014 and love it. Great pool, pet friendly, nice apartments, reasonable rent. We have made many good friends and all cookout at the pool every weekend. Many residents have been here for several years. Nice property, nice staff, problems fixed quick, security officer. We recommend this place.

Thank you so much for your review! We appreciate your feedback!
I moved here about a year ago from upstate NY. The complex here at Legacy is beautiful. Rent is very reasonable compared to other places. I enjoy the pool very much. The grounds are kept up very nice. Anytime I have had a maintenance issue, it is taken care of right away. The girls in the office are always helpful and accommodating. The maintenance crew are always friendly and professional. There has been new management this past year and they have really made some great improvements. The only issue I have is some of the tenants don't respect the property. Especially those who don't clean up after their dogs. Maybe enforce the rule/fines of cleaning up after your pet. Other than that, I am very happy here and my guests tell me It's like I live at a resort!
Nice community, apartment was nice. Loved the pool area and the improvements to the gym. Only issue was loud neighbors (who one time tried to drunkenly enter my apartment at night) and people not respecting where they were living. Although there is a dog park and multiple doggie waste stations, dog owners still didn't clean up after their dogs. There was usually trash in the breezeways with there being one time that someone left their trash on the stair handrail right outside my apartment.
New management has made some moves to really improve the complex. Other than people not respecting where they live it is a nice place to live.
Overall nice place to live. Has a pool with grills and clubhouse has a pool table. The new owners are very nice. Rent could be better but as of right now is fair.
My community is beautiful! The landscaping to the apartment itself is great! It truly feels like a home when you can't buy one yet. The 9ft ceilings are a great touch to make the apartment feel larger and the large kitchens! I've lived there twice now and its where I will be for a long time.
