The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Crescent at Country Club
The property manager was very empathetic to our situation, and was also very helpful.
Wow these places have really stepped up their game! They are super nice now! Hassle free and Ashley Aron was great to deal with! Tons of info and very knowledgeable! I recommend this place!!!
If your looking for a community and not just a place to live, the ADVENIR at Lake Charles is perfect for you. Let me start by saying that the leasing office staff is absolutely fantastic. Ashley and Bree the leasing agents are always professional, friendly, but never afraid to cut lose and act like everyday people. The courtesy and care from all of the staff here is what puts the cherry on top. If your looking for a reasonable and nice apartment, don’t hesitate to stay at ADVENIR at Lake Charles! ???
This place used to be The Charlestonian at Lake Charles up until June 23, 2017. Instead of letting the current tenants know that they were about to sell the property, a note was placed on our doors on the day of the sale, letting us know. Furthermore, we were also told that we would have to pay next months rent via check, instead of on-line as we have been able to date, and as of June 23, 2017, getting a hold of someone in the office has been nearly impossible. I work with several people who also live the apartments and they have confirmed the exact same experience. If Advenir thinks that working in secret, and not being available to the current tenants is what creates a great living experience, then I believe that we are in trouble.
Amazing apartments, amazing staff, amazing experience! Melissa is the bomb!
I have lived at the Charlestonian in one of the upstairs A1 units (1 bed/1 bath)for over a year and have experienced a few issues which I will now discuss. The main problem with this apartment is the inflated price tag. When I first moved in back in April of 2014, I signed a year lease and the cost of my unit was $780/month. Shortly after I moved in, the Charlestonian was bought by Cortland Partners and renovations began in the vacant units as well as around the complex. Currently, the remodeled version of my unit is now over a $1000/month! My unchanged unit is slightly discounted, but still $950/month. For such an average 1 bed/1 bath as the Charlestonian that is outrageous. The only substantial improvements are the much needed modern appliances and hardwood flooring. Outside, the building received 3 months worth of noisy board replacements and a new paint job. Nothing to justify the jump in price in other words. The bottomline is this: this apartment is not worth the money. Before the dramatically increased rent, the Charlestonian was in a perfect price category for people like me who wanted a nice apartment but did not want to pay the upper echelon prices of the Country Club Apartments or Nelson Pointe. What the Charlestonian has done by increasing the price is put themselves in direct competition with Country Club and Nelson Point, but with a far inferior product than either. Most people realize this, because an alarming amount of the units are completely empty. I am currently the only resident in my block of four units. However, if the price is something you can live with than otherwise I have had a good experience living here. Yes, there was noisy construction for months, but for now it looks finished. I used to work at a plant nursery so I am familiar with plant prices and labor cost, and they are now putting in what looks to be $100,000 worth of plants, which will look very nice once finished. I have never had any major problems with management, and they have always been extremely helpful. Also the maintenance man is always there in a flash and takes care of whatever you need. I hope this review was helpful, Regards.
I have lived here for 4 years. Convenient location, quiet. I have had no real issues with the management. The only issue that I have had is the fact that the gate is always broken or left open for anyone to come in. For the rental price, especially the rental increase, you would think that their would be better security by way of a fully functioning gate. Otherwise, I have enjoyed living here.
Great apartment complex and managed by an upstanding office staff.
