The neighborhood of Taku, sometimes called Campbell, is located about five miles south of Downtown Anchorage. With tree-lined streets, mountain views, and several lakes and parks, Taku exemplifies the natural beauty Alaska is known for. The neighborhood is near several large natural areas so outdoor hobbies like hiking and camping are very popular in Taku. Chugach State Park is only ten miles away while Kincaid Park is just seven miles away. Taku is also a popular area for families since the neighborhood has access to several good schools. There are multiple businesses in Taku and the neighborhood is near several shopping plazas, so residents don’t have to go far for amenities. There are rentals available for every budget and style including houses, townhomes, and apartments in Taku. The neighborhood is nestled between Walter J. Hickel Parkway and Seward Highway so traveling throughout Anchorage is easy.

Property Ratings at Creekside Manor
This place is truly amazing. It’s in the best and safest part of town, near everything, still close to downtown, and the VIEWS! Literally a million dollar view. I can’t imagine not waking up to the Chugach mountains every morning. I toured a dozen apartments in town, and the second I walked in and saw the view I was sold. Not only do I have the view of the mountains and forest, but I can also see fox, eagles, and moose from time to time. I can stay inside all day, and truly feel like I’m outdoors. ALSO an indoor trash chute, indoor mailboxes, and a heated parking garage?! Couldn’t ask for more with the Alaska winter weather. I also feel super safe here! Staff and maintenance are great, never had an issue, and neighbors are always pleasant (also I never hear them which is also wonderful lol). Literally in love with my apartment and plan on staying here as long as I’m in Anchorage!
We have been here for about a year and we've loved our time here. The only complaint I would have is that I got my bass guitar stolen (it was probably my own fault because I left it in the car). The landlord couldn't do much about it, so that was frustrating. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
