Covington Place Apartments

When I first toured this complex I thought it was wonderful. It was clean, it had a great pool. It has a dog park and I was happy to move in here. But once you do, the leasing manager becomes your worst enemy. She is one of the most disrespectful people. I have had the unfortunateness to have to deal with, if I could move out tomorrow. I would!!!

They are so helpful all the time. If there’s a maintenance request, it’s typically taken care of within 48 hours and they are extremely considerate. 11/10 would recommend.

Old, outdated, trash on the grounds, people speeding, cars getting damaged, tough to get a spot near your residence. Office staff appear nice on the surface, don't be fooled

I cannot say enough good stuff about Covington Place, and the management! First, Lisa was outstanding in getting us set up and providing a smooth check-in process. Second, the place is pet friendly with locations across the property to dispose of a dog's business, but they also provide clean up bags at each station. The grounds are well maintained and there's a great little dog park on the property! Third, there's a great looking pool (closed right now due to COVID-19, but it looks fun once it opens back up). Fourth, the property is in a great location and is just beautiful in general. Lastly, during the move-in walk through Lisa said if we found any minor repairs or damage to let her know. The next day I found a few things (old damage from prior tenant). I told Lisa and she marked it down right away so I won'tbe charged when my lease is up. Then, I found some damage that needed repair. I stopped by her office and let her know, and within an hour it was serviced and fixed! Prompt, excellent service. I cannot recommend Covington Place enough.

Company is super money-hungry. The grounds are beautiful, but the apartments are nowhere near updated enough to justify the base price, and the yearly rental increases. In addition, they sent a nasty email when COVID hit saying that rent was still due on the first, regardless of your situation. Not a great way to acknowledge your paying tenants, many of whom are struggling right now.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained as are the actual living spaces. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s safe and close to so many necessities! I’m excited for my kids to have a quality place to live and play.

i had just some minor issues and the apt manger was great an personally made sure everything was taking care of.

The apartments are rundown and nasty, full of roaches! The manger is a real “jewel”— NOT! She’s awful to work with, doesn’t keep her word at all and frankly a real WITCH! Run from this community!

I have been at Covington Apartments for 4 years now and everyday still feels like home. I like going into the office and always seeing smiling faces, when I call in a work order it is done the same day, the peacefulness of the area, a great swimming pool....I know right now we can't do these things but all in due time we will get back together and feel the friendliness again. So making home is a happy one!

I have been living at the Covington place apartment for over 3 years. I love living here and I can’t see myself living anywhere els, the staff is amazing they always there to help me and whatever that need to be done in my apartment. The upkeep with the landscaping is always on point. Everything is nice and clean. I would recommend Covington place for everyone they have from 1 bedroom to a townhouse with 3 bed rooms. To my landlord if you are reading this thank you so much for being a great landlord.

This apartment complex is great. We lived here once before, in a 2 bedroom apartment. We moved to a new state for a year and now we’re back, and chose to move in to the same complex. We’re now living in a 3 bedroom townhouse and still living it. The staff is always very helpful, landscaping is beautiful, and amenities such as pool and dog park are awesome.

Pool is amazing. Spacious apartments and townhomes. Safe. Quick to respond if there is any kind of maintenance issue.

Cov. Place is beautiful, quiet, and has great amenities. I have lived in a 3 br townhouse and 1br apt and both have been great. Highly recommend!

I've been here almost a year and just signed my lease for next year! I'm very pleased with my apartment! The staff works very hard at making sure their tenants are happy by doing check-ins and promptly responding to questions. Shout out to the maintanance staff and Jeanine for always being prompt and helpful! I truly appreciate all that they do here, especially during times like these. Thank you all for the work you do here everyday!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Covington. The area is nice and kept up. The buildings are very well managed and anytime you need a repair, it is fixed right away. The dog park is amazing for myself and my pup; it’s kept nice and safe. This is truly a great place, especially for the price.

I moved here to attend SLU for grad school and only had a day to find an apartment during my visit down here (since I’m originally from Michigan). The staff was super friendly and helpful and allowed me to fill out everything when I returned back to Michigan. The staff is still always checking in and the place is kept up nicely. Even though each apartment doesn’t specifically have laundry, each building does and I have never had an issue getting my laundry done when needed! I have two dogs and love that there is sidewalks to walk around the property and a fenced in “dog park” on the property itself too. It’s super easy to get into the city and only takes me about 20 minutes during rush hour. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in this area to live!

I have been here about 7 months and I love it. It is a safe environment and so convenient. The people are all so pet friendly, even if they don’t have pets! The neighbors are friendly and say Hello or good morning when you pass them. The maintenance crew prompt and efficient, I like that they leave a note to let you know they had been there and fixed what was needed. Alicia in the leasing office is awesome! I had some concerns about the cost with my budget, so she walked me thru everything, more than once until I was comfortable. I would highly recommend living here, especially if you have four legged family members.

I live in the townhomes for 10 months now. I renewed my lease and hope to stay here for a while. It is a safe, convenient, and well-maintained area. We are near several stores, restaurants, and major highways. We are 23 minutes from WashU and SLU, and 28 minutes from STL airport. Great place for families. Definitely recommend to all!

I’ve been a resident of covington since the summer of 2019, and I’ve been quite pleased with my time here. The dog park is perfect for my pup who has entirely too much energy. I have probably abused the pet washing station, but that’s what it’s there for, right? At least my dog smells nice. The staff are friendly, and willing to help, the maintenance crew are prompt and efficient, and the pool is a major plus. It’s a quiet neighborhood, and definitely one I would put down on your list of “will visit”. Happy hunting!

I was very impressed with how quickly Alicia was able to accommodate meeting with me for a tour and how fast I was able to move in! SUPER PET FRIENDLY WITH A PERFECT LITTLE DOG PARK!!!

I am happy! I just moved two months and five days ago and I can say this place is amazing. Everyone in the management and leasing house is wonderful, but Ms. Alicia is out of the league, she is very kind, friendly and diligent. I am close to everything, two or three minutes from the highway, 18 minutes from my downtown job, 20 minutes from Waterloo-Illinois, 15 minutes from a baseball complex and if I want to buy or eat something, I can do it in a short time because we are surrounded by many shopping centers and stores. The apartment is nice and very clean with some new things in the bathroom and kitchen. This building and neighborhood is very quiet and clean and we have all the green areas well maintained and the price is affordable. The only thing that worries me is the type of floor we have, we have a wooden floor and every time people upstairs walk or move something, I can hear it and sometimes it is not pleasant. I don't know if this could be solved, but if it could be done, that would be amazing, so people could live here for a long time. Thank you.

I really like coving apartment because the staff are really friendly. I’m a picky person, so before I move in I check out the apartment very specific. Alicia was very patience with me to help out with what I choose to stay. I recommended if you want to stay in south county area. Covington Apartment is the best. It is close to everything around.

My Mother and I moved into Covington sight unseen when we came back to St. Louis after a 16 year change of pace in Florida. We got to the apartment for the first time it was love at first sight. The rooms were a great size, they fit everything we brought with us and let me tell you we were worried! We got comfortable for the next four years. I started having a medical issue that was preventing me from walking up and down the stairs (there were 4 steps to get into the building). The staff at Covington was so helpful, as soon as an apartment became available that had zero steps they allowed us to move from one home to another. It has been a blessing! We have been in this apartment for 2 years now and are as happy as we can be. We plan to make this our home for a long time to come. In the last 6 years we have never had a problem having anything we need fixed, the maintenance staff is the cream of the crop! They are normally here the same day of a request. The office staff is amazing,they will help with anything you might need including helping tracking down an Amazon package that was left in the wrong building! Totally above and beyond the call of duty!! We truly feel like we have found our home here. Lisa P.

I’ve been here two years and had the best experience. There’s so much to love from the sidewalks which are great for running or walking your dog, the fitness center that is packed with great equipment to get a good workout, the dog groomers station (which is perfect is you have a bigger dog), the pool is awesome and has a great atmosphere, and the fact that I feel so secure in my apartment because of the security on each apartment building. You get way more than what you pay monthly! They offer 24/7 maintenance that responds very quickly if needed. Needed maintenance done a couple times and had my issue resolved in less than a day. Everyone in the office is SO NICE and friendly and extremely helpful. You are able to get packages delivered to the office and they are so quick to alert you to pick up it up. Overall my experience is great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Covington is a replay safe and quiet place to live. Apartments are clean and well managed. There is a lot of different apartment options. I already lived into two different apartment here and I loved it. The maintenance team is always responding quickly and efficiently. The gestion team is really friendly and always here to help and accommodate people. Prices are fair and include access to the swimming pool (very nice one) and the gym! I love it.

We have been renting a townhome at Covington Place since late 2019 and have loved our stay here. The amenities (especially the gym!) are a great bonus and the staff is always very friendly. Maintenance is timely and does a great job. We love having our own private back patio as well!

The workers at Covington Place really work quickly even when it's a minor issues. I have always had quick results. They also make it very personable with checking in on you every now and then! Great management!

I was so blessed to find Covington Place Apartments!! The management was so helpful through the application and move in process - Alicia was the best!! Maintenence was super prompt and courteous when i submitted requests. The place is kept up nicely and I love the new plank flooring inside my unit! The amenities are also excellent - very nice and updated gym as well as a beautiful pool! Overall I'm so glad I found Covington Place and am glad I get to call this place home.

I was having difficulty finding an apartment within my budget, in an area I liked, & that allowed dogs & Covington met all three! Super pet friendly staff! They have a dog park & tennis court available for when it’s too muddy. They provide clean up bags all over the property. Cliff Cave Park & Grant’s Trail are super close as well for hiking/walking! I highly recommend Covington if you’re looking for a safe place to life with your furry friend(s)!

I have recently moved into Covington Place and already LOVE it! I chose this place due to the amazing review from my friends who live here and they were totally spot on! Office staff is so friendly and always make sure you continue to love the apartments. Maintenance is so fast with requests and definitely go out of their way to go above and beyond! The amenities are amazing, especially if you have a fur baby and can utilize the dog park and dog wash on site (which i love to!) Highly highly recommend Covington Place!!

I've lived here for 2 years. It's quiet, well maintained. The pool area is awesome!

I began working with management almost 2 months before signing my lease. I was relocating to St. Louis to start a new job, so my timeline wasn't 100% clear. There was a lot of back and forth and lack of exactness on my end, but management never acted annoyed and were always prompt in responding. There was turnover in the office during this time, and I didn't close with the same agent I originally talked too, but this had no impact on me. They communicate well and must keep records of interactions, because no matter who I got a hold of, they were able to help me without me having to reexplain everything. On both the day I signed my lease, and the day I moved in, I met several staff members. They were all professional and personable. They seem strict, but to me that is necessary in apartment real estate, as it promotes responsible tenants. The apartment itself is what you would expect for an apartment in this price range with some upgrades and some areas that are still dated. Kitchen and bath are updated and very nice compared to other apartments in price range. The building smells musty, but overall the interior is clean and spacious (lots of closet and storage space!). Walls are thinner, so you can hear some noise, but nothing outside of what you would expect living in close proximity to others. Plenty of parking. The additional amenities and common grounds are what really sets this apartment complex apart from others in the area. Super pet friendly! Although it seems like a safe area, I appreciate the secure building. Only negative I have found so far is that there is no light in the living room at all and only a small wall light in bedroom. Would be nice to have better lighting or a ceiling fan. There isn't even a connection for you to supply your own, so you must buy floor lamps/fans. Consider adding next upgrade?

Covington is very modern, clean, friendly office staff and spacious. I’m so happy to get to live here.

So far so good, I've been here a few months now and have no complaints at all. Every issue I've had has been dealt with quickly and efficiently, either the day after I call or even the same day I call. The staff is very nice from the front desk clubhouse to the maintenance staff, and they take good care of the properties as well. The area here is nice and my neighbors are quiet and respectful and there's still plenty of parking even when I'm the last one to park for the night. There are little doggy bag stations with trashcans on them that make taking my two dogs out really easy, the stations are always at most a 30 second walk away so no matter where I am it's no trouble to grab one and clean up after my dogs really quickly. The dog park is nice and big, and even has a little training course set up which is good if you have show dogs (though I don't). My little puppy loves to jump over the double planks and jumps back and forth over them all the time. At its furthest point in the neighborhood, walking to the dog park should only take about five to ten minutes from the front door; no time at all. The dog grooming area in the clubhouse was recently updated too, and it's completely free to use. There's a new machine that's really nice (and certainly looks like it too!) with shampoo, conditioner, tick/bug deterrent, a dryer and more built in and once again; free to use! Washing both my dogs was quick and easy, even though my dogs were certainly willing to fight me over being there. The little gym in the clubhouse looks small, but it's pretty well featured. I can work all the same muscles I would at a regular gym no problem, and I've never seen it so busy I couldn't do something like run on one of the treadmills. The equipment there is nice, clean and well-kept as well. Overall I'm very happy, I definitely recommend living here.

I have never had a problem at any other apartment complex, but this place is just awful!! They get you in here by showing you the nice clubhouse, pool, etc., but once you move in, they act like they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to live there. Maintenance is slow and the ladies in the office are mean, especially Connie!! The apartments are old. You can tell they’ve tried to update them, but the walls are thick from repainting after repainting. You can find much nicer places to live for much cheaper. Don’t move in!!

I just moved in about a week ago and so far I like it although the move in was rough. We told management before we signed anything that we have pet mice and the neglected to tell us that caged pets weren't allowed until after we signed the lease, forcing us to get rid of our pets. Honestly, if I would have know that I wouldn't have moved here. My boyfriend loved the mice. The parking here isn't great, if you get home after 7pm your gonna have to walk a little bit to get to your building. The inside of the building looks great though, rooms are spacious and clean. I love the floors! Even though the complex allows cats and dogs you don't smell them when you walk into the building. I decided I wanted to remove the closet doors to open the bedroom up a bit and they had no problem with it, they even offered to have maintance come take the doors down for us and store them elsewhere. The neighbors and staff are very friendly. The location is great. Overalll I love my apartment and it's really starting to feel like home.

I have moved into this complex recently, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't had any issues with my neighbors, it is a quiet area, and the location is perfect being right by the highway and mall. The rent is very reasonable, and I even had an issue with my rent getting paid in which they were willing to go out of their way to help me out. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to be near downtown and South County, and looking for a family friendly neighborhood.

I HAVE FOUND THE COVINGTON PLACE APARTMENTS LOCATED IN THE SOUTH COUNTY AREA OF MEHLVILLE, MO., AN EXTREMELY PLEASURABLE QUIET AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO LIVE. THIS IS A REAL CLASS PLACE. THE MANAGEMENT STAFF IS HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL, CARING, CORDIAL, AND VERY EFFICIENT TO THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND REQUESTS OF ITS RESIDENTS. EXCELLENT QUALITY RESTAURANTS AND SUPERMARKETS LIKE TUCKER'S PLACE RESTAURANT AND DIERBERGS ARE VERY CLOSE BY, ALSO. SOUTH COUNTY SHOPPING CENTER AND WALGREEN ARE JUST A COUPLE BLOCKS AWAY. REMODELING OF THE APARTMENTS, ON THE INSIDE AS WELL AS THE UPDATED MAINTENANCE OF THE OUTSIDE GROUNDS AREA IS ALWAYS OF PRIME CONCERN TO THE PROPERTY OWNERS. I LOVE TO LIVE HERE AT COVINGTON PLACE APARTMENTS! IN FACT, I HAVE LIVED HERE NOW LONGER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THESE 450 APARTMENT UNITS - GOING ON 30 YEARS - AND I HAVE LOVED EVERY YEAR OF IT!! --
