Cherry Hill is a close-knit community located 8 miles southeast of Philadelphia. Haddonfield, its neighbor immediately south, creates the border between the two towns. With a preserved historic district teeming with Victorian, colonial and federal-period houses, it's no wonder that Philadelphia Magazine chose Haddonfield as one of the best places to live in the Delaware Valley.
The close proximity to the city combined with safe neighborhoods, excellent school systems, and all the charm living in a historic town brings, checking out the area is a no-brainer to those contemplating a move in the area.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Coventry Place Apartments
Three different management companies have owned this property in the past several years, and none of them want to update the units, do complete repairs, or fix the heating system. We have gone without heat overnight several times this winter (and last year as well), sometimes two nights in a row. Today it was 50 degrees indoors when we woke up. They are happy to leave an eviction notice on your door if your rent is a few days late; it would be nice to see the same urgency apply when it comes to fixing the important issues for which tenants are paying. This is not a reflection on the day-to-day employees, who try to help the best they are able. This is a reflection of poor ownership/management and the fact that tenants aren't getting what they deserve. You can do much better.
This complex not only has well-kept grounds and well-kept maintenance on its buildings, but also has a GREAT management team in the office, on site, who are REALLY attentive to the resident's needs! They answer the call when you call, and they reply to your emails right away too. This place is on top of their game. Thank goodness! I love it here. It's very quiet, friendly, and clean. It's in a nice residential section of Magnolia with pretty houses all around the complex.
Ugh...my neighbor had a bathroom “emergency” three days ago. I had to call the office three times in one day before maintenance came back to stop the leak. Found out the upstairs neighbors had left a puddle of water on the floor over night even though they knew there was an “emergency”. My carpet has not been properly cleaned, the ceiling is coming apart, and my apartment smells like toilet water despite any efforts on my part. The neighbors throw food out the window, and leave trash on the ground. I can’t wait until my lease it up. I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to send an exterminator when there was a fly infestation outside the building. Flies were everywhere in my apartment because of that.
Apartments are not the size they advertise. Two bedroom is a little over 800 square feet. Mold and mildew, cant keep bathroom clean - turns back to black the next day, carpets and base board heaters are nasty. Lots of leaks and you must call constantly to have something repaired. Roaches also, good luck getting them to exterminate. Silver fish galore! Just moved here and have to move again. This place sucks.
I've looked around and thus is the best for the money. Pros: :) Reasonable Rate :) Long Balconies :) VERY fair on pet deposit-no monthly fee :) Most all utilities included :) Nice neighborhood Cons: :( Older buildings, some leaking :( Need additional AC in bedrooms & larger unit for the rest of apt. :( No laundry/dishwasher in units :( No assigned parking Overall if you look around this area it's the best around.
The location and costs are great here. Neighbors are mostly quiet but friendly. My only problem is everything seems to be banaided when there's a problem. Overall, I like it here.
Older building but it's a nice neighborhood, long balconies, reasonable rates. Could use better AC and up date appliances. For the money can't complain and worth it.
The neighborhood is nice & safe. The units are older; the bedrooms could use an ac unit; and assigned parking would be nice. I looked around and compared; CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE. There are nicer Apts but they are more $$; some are small; other area were not safe.
I lived here for a little over 2 yrs and am happy being here. The staff is nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept and if anything needs to be fix they take care of it. Rent is reasonable for all that you get. It's an easy ride to get to the highways and train.
