Lake Apopka, a quaint neighborhood near Orlando, Florida, surrounds the very large Lake Apopka. The north side of the lake is entirely encompassed by a nature preserve, Lake Apopka North Shore. The loop trail at the preserve covers more than 20 miles for great hiking and biking opportunities, as well as extraordinary bird watching. Right off the east side of the lake, you’ll find the University of Florida's MREC (Mid-Florida Research and Education Center).
On the northwest side of Lake Apopka, Green Mountain Scenic Overlook and Trailhead loops around for about 16 miles, giving Lake Apopka’s residents even more great hiking adventures. Clay Island Trailhead is another park option for outdoor recreation in the area. The maintenance team supervised by Ronny does an excellent job in our community. I am a current resident and I’m very grateful because the community is always clean and they take care of my requests in a reasonable time. They are friendly, respectful and professional. The community in general is quiet and peaceful with a great location.
I am a current resident living here over 2 years. The maintenance team supervised by Ronny does an excellent job in our community. They are professional and friendly, always taking time to say hello and wave. My maintenance requests are always taken care of promptly usually within 24 hours . The urgent tasks are taken care of. However, also smaller ones that may seem unimportant are also addressed and make living here much more pleasant.
